    'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' Reborn
    Not a pokemon was stirring, not even a breloombot;
    The message boxes were hung by the forum with care,
    In hopes that St. Dan's soon would be there;

     

    The posters were nestled all snug in their beds,
    While visions of lum berries danced in their heads
     And Amethyst in her favorite jacket, and I in my card's cap,
    Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap‍—‌

     

    When out on the web there arose such a clatter,
    I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
    Away to the screen I flew like a Deoxy,
    Tore open the light screens, and threw up the focus sash.


    When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
    But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny sawsbucks,
    With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
    I knew in a moment it must be St. Dan.

     

    More rapid than braviary his coursers they came,
    And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:
    "Now! Ikaru, now! Jericho, now! Jan and Rose,
    "On! Med, on! Simon, on! Tacos and Zumi;
    "To the top of the sever! To the top of the forums!
    "Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

    With the sleigh full of toys‍—‌and St. Dan too:
    And then in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
    Down the wed St. Dan came with a bound:

    He was dress'd all in Zangoose fur, from his head to his foot,
    And his clothes were all tarnish'd with Litten ashes and soot;
    A bundle of toys was flung on his back,
    And he look'd like a Delibird just opening his pack:
    His eyes‍—‌how they twinkled! His dimples: how merry,
    His cheeks were like roselias, his nose like a cherrim;
    His droll little mouth was drawn up like a chimecho,
    And the beard of his chin was as white as the Absol;
    The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
    And the smoke it encircled his head like a Torkoal.
    He had a broad face, and a little round belly
    That shook when he laugh'd, like a Snorlax filled with berries:
    He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old Mr. Mime,
    And I laugh'd when I saw him in spite of myself;
    A wink of his eye and a twist of his head
    Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
    He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
    And fill'd all the message boxes; then turn'd with a jerk,
    And laying his finger aside of his nose
    And giving a nod, up the forums he rose.
    He sprung to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
    And away they all flew, like the down of a thistle:
    But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight‍—‌
    Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

    I'm really liking the trainer customization though, and the fact that you can dye clothes? Pretty sweet. (Although I'm SERIOUSLY hoping we get suits and trenchcoats as options for BOTH genders. I was pretty disappointed in Y when I couldn't wear a trenchcoat, but girls could. Not to be sexist or anything, but I'd like SOME equality in terms of clothes.)

    same i wanted the ash hat ;-;

    and its it just me, or the broken mon we need to worry about is the dang orangutan. Being able to use a move like earthquake twice seems broken X_X

    Hey hey, dont get saltly he cant account for every piece of drama/complication that happened. Besides, did you really want to be named after a bulbasaur? I can see another pokemon fit you perfectly.

    This week i pretty much assumed anything my opponent would run would either be fast or bulk so all my mons. So i dropped speed for power and gave Ty some fire power to help out with those pesky steel types. Sandstorm helped with chip damage on other mons.

    But he was "not born of man" like the light prophecy says, so he's a possible candidate. The prophecy doesn't say clones can't be the ones.

    i guess thats true, but since he was turned back into a pokemon would he jan really bring him back?

    TBH- the candidate for not born of man to me sounds like the protagonist because its clear that Robot mom isn't our true mother, so we kind of have to be special

    I also just remembered when reading this that the light prophecy mentions four who were "not born of man". Although I thought Crescent could be the player's real mom, the player can't have biological parents if we're part of the light prophecy (unless man in this case literally means males and Crescent or someone else gave birth without a father).

    Melia I think is definitely one of the lights. Interestingly, since Zetta wasn't really born of man being a Solosis, it's possible he's a light too (like the TV Tropes page mentions, he seems to start questioning his actions near the end of his time as a human). Also! Aelita wasn't listed as Keta's heir, and the Eldest said she has a good reason for not letting her become Sensei which she can't tell her. Maybe Keta's not her real dad? . o .

    I could see Kanon being either light or shadow. On one hand he intercepted the orb mission because he was told they were the cause of the world's future destruction (which is mentioned in the shadow prophecy), but on the other, he seems to be easily influenced by Madame X (his diary mentions Irvine looking concerned, and there's boxes in his house closing off a book and a Garufa symbol). Like Ren, he also has some emotional flaws (he was easily provoked by what Venam said about Melia and didn't give her a chance to explain herself). I guess if he's a shadow he'd be Obsession, considering he seems to have one for Melia. Betrayal is taken by Ren, Raw Evil doesn't fit because he cares about the world, and he doesn't really seem greedy.

    We don't know the qualities of the lights yet, but I'm guessing they're the opposite of the shadow traits. So Pure Goodness instead of Raw Evil, Loyalty instead of Betrayal, Charity instead of Greed, and whatever the opposite of obsession is.

    If I had to guess, I'd say the lights are the player, Melia, Aelita, and either Zetta or someone we haven't met yet. And for the shadows

    Raw Evil - Gardevoir

    Betrayal - Ren

    Obsession - Kanon, Angie, Cera, or Vitus/Indriad

    Greed - Madelis or Mr. Blakeory

    EDIT: Wait Kanon has parents he can't be a light

    Zetta can't really count he was a clone of Melia
