  1. Howdy everyone,

So, I'm making this post to show a little love to that Knight in Shining Armor. Escavalier.

On my way through the desert I happened upon Titania's castle and was so unprepared it wasn't funny, cause I still had a lvl 57 Typhlosion on my team trying to level and prepare for her, along with most of my mons at 79 bordering 81. I somehow managed to get through to her castle, and had to fight Zekrom. Now THAT totally caught me offguard, but I only had to reset once.  What I did, was let it outrage like 3 of my mons then get confused, then I sent out Gardevoir with a focus sash. His first attack on gardevoir missed luckily, so I got off a moonblast. Didn't kill him... CRAP. But then I was like.... Aha! I still have my sash! So I managed to KO him without much hassle.

Moving on, I end up fighting Titania and I'm like "Holy crap I'm not ready for this." So after a few tries and fails (Damn Excadrill...) I decided to head back to Opal Ward and grind some. Got Typhlosion up to 83, Mamoswine up to 81, Donphan up to 75, Roserade up to 85 and Blaziken up to 84. So I'm damn ready to go toe to toe with Titania now after some preparations (Giving some mons quick claws etc) So I got to thinking... "Hmm, her first mon is Sandslash, a phys attacker..." So I got the bright idea to send in Escavalier first. Man, that Sandslash barely left in dent in my spectacular Knight. Managed to get off 3x Iron Defense and 2x Swords Dance..... AND LET THE SWEEP BEGIN. Oh man, Every single pokemon she sent out I managed to one shot, with the exception of Scizor (stupid Excadrill and making my attack drop). So with a bit of healing up to not die from a crit (Cause those seem to love me apparently), Big Boy Bugsington managed to sweep Titania, all on his own. I felt like I over prepared afterwards considering how much longer I spent in Opal Ward training up. So, I would just like to send out a huge thank you to this amazing Knight here!

The repeat Trainer, Clown Indra should be situated near the ferris wheel area, he offers a shard when you beat him and will mention something about rainbows, all his pokemon are lvl 65 but he will only use 3 and they will be based on the colour he picks

    Ah, thank you!

Any advice you could give, or a mon that would be good for taking out Gliscor? So far, he one shots just about anyone that can probably kill him on my team.

  3. Hi everyone,

I seem to be having a little bit of trouble fighting Ciel, mostly cause of her Gliscor and Oricoro. Now, I have a Cryogonal I can train up to hopefully deal with Gliscor, but I don't really have anywhere to train it. I saw someone mention something about a repeat trainer to fight in the Circus, but I've talked to about every NPC there.  Anywhere I can level up my mons?

  4. Hi everyone,

I downloaded E17 and started playing already and made it to the Railnet/almost Spinel town. I found the corrupted pokeball and noticed the lab coat guy isn't there, so I figured he was moved in E17. I wanted to move back to E16 so I could get Ralts, but for some reason E16 is giving me errors after I launch it? See below screenshots

  5. Hey everyone,

For some reason, my game is having a bit of frame rate lag, which I find a bit odd considering my computer's specs. It lags a bit in the overworld, menu and even battles.  I tried changing the priority of the program to high in task manager but that didn't seem to do much. Anyone have any suggestions on how I could make the game run a bit smoother?

  6. Hi everyone!

So glad E17 came out and since I got a new computer, I don't have my old saved file (Although I'm sure I uploaded it to the forum sometime before, but I'll just start over)

So progress report: I started with Torchic after seeing some people say he was a good one to start with. Got so lucky to get Adamant and Speed Boost on the first try. Currently, I only have 3 mons on my team. Combusken (19) Espurr (16 ) and Butterfree (14) and I'm having some trouble with Julia. Since E17 came out, that Oricario is giving me some trouble. Anyone know any additional pokemon I can catch to make this gym battle a bit easier? Combusken isn't strong enough to OKO her pokemon and the other two don't do enough damage/have a weakness. Thoughts and assistance?

  7. Yep everyone here knows about it. I bet most of the people use the trainers for EV training or just plain leveling up. I think Ame and the Developers wanted the Opal trainers to be re-battled.

I mean, I know they could be rebattled, but only after a week or so? When I skipped time before, it'd say I have to wait till I can battle them again, but it seems to go on for weeks now. That's awesome

  8. Idk if anyone has noticed yet, but I'm sure everyone has known about the trainers in Opal Ward and skipping the days so you can fight them again.

Well, I skipped the days for the week, the previous week and the following week, then I got curious and tried skipping it to about... 2 weeks ahead and I was still able to fight the trainers. Now, I'm not complaining or anything, but it'll do for some great grinding if anyone needs to. Got my Infernape from about... 30 to 70 in about 30 minutes or so.

  9. Ahh I forgot to update.

I managed to beat Charlotte. I went and levelled up a Floatzell (only around 40 or so though) and sent him out first and a geodude with sturdy and stealth rock. since Typhlosion no longer had energy ball, both of them got hit and survived and I managed to get a rain dance in, then kept spamming surf to drop their accuracy. Actually got quite lucky against her ninetails cause instead of attacking, it used Nasty Plot, then I KO'd it with Diggersby's Earthquake. I really should have recorded it, cause I forgot exactly what steps I took to win. But it def became easier without that haxing Typhlosion. Thanks, everyone for the advice

  10. If you update to 14.6.2 or whatever the energy ball typhlosion should be fixed... Anyway, I would recommend training on route 3 and in the caves there. Rhydons and kangaskhans and Druddigons are all pretty good for exp. Honestly you should've trained with Aya at your side there so you could fight two at a time, but there's no going back now. Just keep going and if you need it to be faster, you can try cheat engine as it has a speed up feature, although some things have been known to happen thanks to cheat engine. Just be careful if you use it. Keep it up, and you should be able to beat Charlotte.

Hmm I'm not seeing 14.6.2.... I see 14.1.1 though, unless it's that one I have to download? If so, I think I already have it... and yeah... I knew I should trained some more with Aya, I really passed up that opportunity... I'll keep on training to try to beat this girl.... Going to keep looking for the new episode so I can get rid of that damn energy ball Typhlosion

  11. Soo, made a new file and I'm at Charlotte now and... DAMN. Typhlosion and Darmanitan right off the bat? jeez.... Not to mention that haxing Typhlosion with energy ball....

Anyway, I've been trying quite a few tactics.... so far, I've had a sturdy geodude (low level) just to put in a stealth rock for the other poke and somehow, Typhlosion AND Darmanitan are BOTH faster than my Infernape, who's the same level as them and I have no clue... anyway, back to my main issue. Anyone know where I can grind my pokemon some levels so I can take out Charlotte? Just about everything she has outspeeds all my pokemon so I can barely get a raindance in. Not to mention said pokemon with rain dance gets KO'd before even moving.

Do I HAVE to train in route 4? Gonna take a while seeing my pokemon are in the 60s and they are 40-60...

  12. Hmm... to go through the trouble of finding a Hitmonchan.... yeah Ampharos gets Thunderpunch, Infernape only gets Mach Punch and Close Combat, no other punches :/

I honestly don't think I'll bother with the breeding cause I already have my Adamant Iron Fist Infernape. Thanks anyway though, guys

  13. It's a glitch, so that once you acquire the key, the game acts as if you already gave it to her. [:

Ohh, I see. Thought it'd go to some super secret place. Thanks~
