Mining? Not sure what soft locking has got to do with it.

Was facing Rocker Robert in the Fight Club.
Sandy Terrain.
His Alolan Golem used Nature Power which turned into Meditate. Which he then used twice in a row.
Two Meditates in the same turn.
Also, his Poliwrath never seems to make a move.

Really minor but when you beat the Shadow Mewtwo fight and if you go back to the big hallway, Keta's with you again.... guess he beat the Mewtwo again.

That features long gone buddy. Only the usual starters are in that machine.

There's a lot of good mons to use, and its not easy just to answer this question as a lot of it is opinions.
The true answer is: play the game and try out the mons and find out what works for you.

I can walk over the sides but not the middle... also no matter what i press, nothing changes in terms of the platforms

When you turn the power on, exit the building and come back in, its as if the power was turned off in this room. If you go up and come back into this room, the power turns back on

So is it a case of even mentioning debug is a warning? Because if so, that's just ridiculous.
If it's offered as a suggestion, it is up to the person who asked if they decide to use it or not. Don't punish people just for talking about it.

At the part where you are about to fight as Melia for the first time and get the below:

Am replaying the game, just going through Goldenwood Cave with Melia.
In the double battle with the 2nd pair of trainers, foe switches out Lombre for Duskull, Melia uses Double-Hit with Buneary on the Duskull which doesn't work because typing, I use Knock-Off on the Duskull and get the below:

Game carries on as usual, Knock Off does hit but yeah
Edit; Error popped up again later in the battle when I went to use Double Kick on Krabby, and they switched it back out for Duskull and it was aimed at by Double Kick. So seems the issue is more for the "not hitting the ghost type". Possibly because both moves are multi-hit moves?
Edit:Edit: SOLVED. WAS A BAD SCRIPTS FILE. AZERY SMELLS.

When you enter the orphanage after completing the Maman questline, the map is the old version. You have to enter and leave the house for it to turn into the new version.

I know it worked fine in Beta, but now in Com. Release, it only does the tackle animation.

That's soft resetting. Not soft locking. Soft locking is where you can't progress because of a fault and the only way to fix it is by going back to a previous save or something.
And by checking the Item Guide, it appears only way IS by mining; or finding one on a Dwebble/Roggenrola/Any wild mon that can potentially hold a Hard Stone.
