Overdrive + Gunk Shot + Boomburst + Shift Gear

The Ability Punk Rock boosts Sound-based moves by 1.5x, this makes Toxtricity the strongest user of Boomburst in the game. Shift Gear not only gives it a much needed Speed boost, but it also boosts Attack allowing for Toxtricity to run the more powerful Gunk Shot. While its movepool is small, it is a big threat with the right support.

    Grimmsnarl 861.png

Remember Meowstic? Well here's a bit of an upgrade. With Light Screen and Reflect in the game, Grimmsnarl can not only aid sweepers such as the aforementioned Toxtricity, but it can also pack a punch with its powerful STAB options and respectable Attack stat. Like Toxtricity, there are many ways to run this Pokemon depending on if you want support, attack, or my favorite: a mix of both.

    Gonna add another Pokemon

    Spoiler

    Corviknight 823.png

Moves such as Power Trip and Stored Power are known to be very powerful in Reborn and Rejuvenation, and Corviknight is a fantastic user of Power Trip, With Bulk Up, Agility and Roost available to it, Power Trip can get very powerful very quickly. You can also run Brave Bird on the side as a powerful STAB option over Agility. Corviknight's bulk, typing, and recovery allow it to set up rather easily.

A set consisting of Brave Bird, Iron Head, Body Press, and Roost might be more practical but we'll have to see.

But in all honesty for all major bosses, I highly recommend studying the field effect manual (if you find the notes or just use the Reborn Wiki). Fields seem "rigged" at first, but the player can abuse them as much as the opponent can.

  4. Can confirm this fight is hell, but it is a good way to test your might : ^ )

Actually never mind this fight is blessed as it will introduce you to out Lord and Saviors pure, white light. This is truly the closest I have felt to God in all of my 19 years.

  5. Hey I literally just finished Legends of the Arena today. Here's my Team:

    LegendsOfTheArenaTeam.jpg

The level curve didn't really bother me too much as I am used to playing RPGs under leveled because I would rather avoid grinding. And I have to agree with the previous statements, the writing is very well done and honestly, I like the Tourneys more than run of the mill Gym Battles. A lot of the game centers around feeling bad for winning, so it works in my opinion.

  6. Without Breeding, your Roserade will likely end up with Leech Seed (Level Up), Giga Drain (Level Up), Venoshock (TM), and Toxic Spikes (Level Up). It's passable and has the Special Attack stat to work well, but you'll probably want to breed it to have it reach full potential (Hidden Power Type, Extrasensory, Sleep Powder)

Dragalge evolves late, but Adaptability and good Special Bulk make it a fine option as well. Dragon Pulse, Sludge Wave, Hydro Pump, and Toxic Spikes will probably be your moves assuming you don't Hidden Power breed.

  7. Some of what I'd consider to be the "best" Pokemon

Blaziken = Speed Boost and good Level-Up Moves

Excadrill = Monstrous Attack and good Level-Up Moves (Mystery Egg) [Diggersby can be a good alternative to this)

Tangrowth = Really great in general and can do just about anything you want it to do

Magnezone = Great Type and Special Attack

Swoobat = Very early and Calm Mind + Simple wrecks a lot of Bosses [Arcehops is also really good]

Crawdaunt / Azumarill  = Very strong Water Types to round out the Team

Other typical choices such as Gyarados and Gardevoir come too late for your preferences.

Something like a guiding spirit or so.............I'm not sure whether the game is in a dream and the ending is in the real place where MC is or both are real............god, this game keeps me thinking.

Yeah the ending was very tricky. I am curious to see what happens next.

Anyways, does anyone have a PBS for the current Version of Deso? I was planning on doing a Custom Run and the current Version of RMXP and / or Pokemon Essentials doesn't work with 4.1.1. Thanks!

  9. Actually a really nice Team. I'll suggest some Moves since you did not post any.
