My least favorite types are Bug and Ice. Both are too fragile. Yet there are good pokemon among these types. I love Heracross, Crustle, and Golisopod for a few bug types. For ice types I like Walreign and Articuno.

Ivysaur - Bulbasaur and Ivysaur have great designs. Yet Venasaur is, sad to say, ugly.
Vigoroth - I understand the appeal of slaking, but they could have at least given it a split evolution line.
Lickitung - I just don't think this line needed to exist let alone get an evolution.
Nosepass - Probopass, just no.
Dewott - I had so many hopes for the final stage and Samurott failed me.
Herdier - That mustache is too much.
Trubbish - Trubbish can be cute. There is no escaping the fact that Garbodor is just trash in more ways than one.
Zweilous - Now I love Hydriegon, but initially I didn't like it. The hands being heads looked like it was holding puppets and those aren't wings.
Braixen - I don't think I need to explain this one.
Bennelby - Diggersby is gross. I'm sorry for Bunnelby.
Duoblade - I can't deny Aegislash's usefulness in battle, but there were so many options, why the shield?

What about Dunsparce? He needs some love.

With regional forms being introduced in cannon in gen 7 I think gen 8 should expand on it a bit. We've gotten a good deal of mega evolutions and Z-crystals seem unique to Alola.
Also, the last post was only two weeks ago so I don't think this is a necro post. If it is I'm sorry.

Sounds like fun. I'll be the wolf in sheep's clothing.

One that I recently started using was Play Dough for Tangrowth because it looks like play dough from one of those toys.

So I'm stuck in the game and I'm not sure if I updated right. Previously I just finished up in the dragon ruins and I believe I'm supposed to head to Oranos town next, but there is no path in that direction. Maybe I didn't update correctly or I'm just not seeing which way I'm supposed to go. Please help.
Edit: So there's an issue with applying the patch. I've extracted the patch into my Pokemon Insurgence folder, but nothing's changed. On an Insurgence help page I read that I need version 1.2 to use the most recent patch, but I have an older version (1.1.6). Anyone have an idea of how to apply the patch with this older version?

Maybe something similar has already been done in canon games (I haven't played all of them) but I'd like to see an outdoors route plunged in permanent darkness because of some legendary mon or artificial disaster.
Alistair, I really like the idea of a shadowed route and have been thinking about how it could work in game.
So, initially the player would arrive on the route and witness the bright meadow (or whatever) become overcast as a floating island settles above the route. Police or some other good character arrives to evacuate the route and directs you to a side exit (possibly changing your destination all together). Later, you return to face the team of troublemakers (obviously behind the floating island) and find the pokemon on the route are all tough and aggressive, an effect of the island and its overcast. Eventually you go to the floating island to take on the evil team's base. A legendary pokemon is responsible for the island floating. When all is said and done (legendary captured or chased off) the island starts falling. With some effort, the good guys direct it into the water. After this, both the overcast route and the fallen island are new/renewed areas to explore. The route's pokemon are different again, but not weak. And the island attracts pokemon and trainers.
With such an interesting idea and decent daydreaming time I had to expand on it. Hope it proves interesting to some of you as well. -
I believe there are sections of Pokemon Prism where you can play as a pokemon, but I haven't played it yet.

Do we know when the next version is coming out? I just finished episode 4 and am eager for more.

Two things I don't want in a fan game.
First, don't attack real groups of people. If it's not acceptable to discriminate against someone in real life then it's not okay to make the game attack these people exclusively. This doesn't mean that controversy can't be added but that selective discrimination is unwanted.
Second, don't force an opinion into the game as its main "moral". It's really annoying when an entertaining medium is used to push an agenda rather than for the entertainment value.

As much as a Sinnoh remake would make many people happy there needs to be another region before another remake can be made (if GameFreak follows the same schedule). A second phase of Alolan games (Stars or whatever) would be most likely.
In response to Masquerain: So far Gamefreak has done a remake after every two regions. Kanto remake came after Kanto and Johto were intorduced. Johto remakes were made after Hoenn and Sinnoh were made. Hoenn remakes were given to us after Unova and Kalos were made. Thus, with Alola being the 7th gen, if the trend continues, gen 8 will be introduced before Sinnoh remakes.

I got 10 out of 10. Though, it being a 10 question quiz I'm not surprised.
Also, apparently I'm a Latios. -
1st gen: Bulbasaur. Charizard is a bit too popular (though still awesome) and I haven't played using Blastoise. That and Bulbasaur is cute, Ivysaur is cool, and Venusaur is strong.
2nd gen: Cyndaquill. Everyone seems to love Tododile (and its evolutions) but I love Cyndaquill.
3rd gen: Treecko. Partly due to Ash having on in the anime, but Sceptile is just pretty cool, especially now it has a Grass/Dragon mega evo. Like with Charizard, Blaziken is too commonly over hyped. Swampert is in a close second though.
4th gen: Torterra. Infernape is interesting but I've gotten bored of it. And I just didn't play with Empoleon a lot.
5th gen: None. Snivy's design remains boring. Oshawott I had high hopes for but was a disappointment. Tepig is probably the least disappointing, but still fire fighting.
6th gen: Foakie. The underdog that proved to come out on top. I didn't think much of it until it became Greninja. However, the similarity to my username is cool.
7th gen: Rowlet was my favorite from the start and didn't disappoint. Sadly I was spoiled to its final stage before the games came out.

Just started Ep 16 and have no idea where to go. Also, it's been so long I don't know how to get places easily. I'm in Agate Circus

So the other day I was watching the XY Pokemon anime and encountered a scene where Ash was using his pokedex to learn about a Rhyperior he was facing. In the entry Dexter said that Rhyperior shoot rocks and Geodude from the holes in its arms. Let me repeat that. Rhyperior shoots Geodue at other pokemon. This made me laugh so much.
Anyways, what's your favorite pokedex entries, games and anime? I hope there are other gems like this one hidden in the anime.

I, too, ended up picking Torchic as my starter for Reborn, but ended up replacing it with Magmar back when you could get Magby early on. In general I love Treeko, but I think Charmander or Mudkip would be some of the better starters to go with.

I must agree that Sinoh has the most interesting set, even if there are too many legendaries. Giratina is our only ghost dragon and ruler of the Distortion World, a mirror of ours that is twisted. In addition there is Darkrai, who lives in the shadows and causes nightmares. And Regigigas, the ultimate golem from ancient times that helped shape the regions.

Randomly, the first one to pop to mind was Amoongus since it's just so annoying. I want items, not fungi.

Sobble, Elegloss, Corviknight, Impidimp, Rolycoly, and G.F. Weezing.
Sobble is my top starter choice, though Scorbunny might be good if they avoid the fighting type.
Elegloss looks good as an early grass type. It will likely get replaced early on though.
Corviknight is just plain awesome looking.
Impidimp has potential. I just hope it has an evolution.
Rolycoly might be the Geodude of gen 8, but still looks fun.
G.F. Weezing is funny.
