Be aware of Pokemon that you can obtain through the in-game events.

EV training helped my fast, offensive pokes 1-2 HKO most of the late-game enemies (Although you can argue a Lucario would normally OHKO anything w/ STAB Close Combat).
If you are able to EV train, chances are that you have a pretty stable team that can cover each Pokemon's weaknesses. That's how you are able to get away with being 'squishy' and having 0 EV invested into defensive stats. Not to mention the fact that you can also have defensive pokes on your team to pivot or switch into unfavorable match ups.

It worked. Thanks!

I can dismount Tauros by:
1. Entering the huge building on Route 1.
2. Going through the huge gate on Route 1.
But I should be able to freely dismount the Tauros so I can cross the tall brush (which I can't when I'm mounting the Tauros).

Do correct me if I'm completely wrong and if there is actually a completely different path to progress through the game.

Hi,
I'm stuck on Route 1.
The game requires me to mount a Tauros so that I can jump the ledges and progress through the game. However I encountered a bug where I can't dismount from the Tauros by pressing A (z, space, e, enter, etc ...).
I believe this is caused by my picking up the star piece / healing star thing. Since I can't dismount from the Tauros, I can't get past the very-tall grass.
Would appreciate if you guys could help me with this issue. Save Attached. Thanks. -
