Right, but I still can't seem to find a sunflora. It's in that park where you defeat the PULSE machine in obsidia right?

I'm currently doing a psychic monotype run and I can't find Mime Jr. I saw that it says you need to trade a sunkern in the North Obsidea Ward but I can't seem to find the person.... someone please help me.
Update: I found the guy to trade with, however I can't seem to find the sunkern. It says the park but I don't ever seem to run into one. Are there certain conditions in which to run into it?

Dark does sound ever so tempting. But I think I'm gonna go with psychic. It's always been my favorite type and has some of my favorite mons. But what do you all think would be a good starter?

I started a steel mono run....instant regret....I mean I made it past Julia decently easily but the lack of pokemon and lack of diversity is just gonna kill me. I just have no desire to continue with steel. Any one have any ideas on a type that would be fun to use? I was thinking Psychic, Dark, or Ghost but I'm open to all options. EXCEPT STEEL!!!!

Geez. Steel is sounding less and less appealing every second. Especially because I already hated the fire gym as is...starting to reconsider. What about a psychic mono? or should I just stick it out with steel?

I did give it great thought but two of my other files use empoleon as the starter so I just wanted to switch it up. very clever use of mon there though haha

Hello all! I'm trying to challenge myself with a new start in the form of a steel mono run. I was wondering if someone could help me by getting my starter to be a Shieldon? I figured it would be a good starter since it evolves later and will give me ample time to find the likes of Onix and Magnemite and all that jazz. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated! My save file is attached.
