History: Just like every child, Fredo loved pokemon. He lived in New Bark Town, though was not chosen my Professor Elm to receive a pokemon. His friends Jonathan, Andrew, and Rachel were chosen to help Professor Elm with the pokedex. Andrew picked Totadile, Rachel picked Cyndaquil, and Jonathan picked Chikorita as the respective starter pokemon. Fredo was jealous of his friend's pokemon and ventured to the outside of New Bark Town late at night looking for Pokemon. He saw a Horsea laying on the ground and with no questions asked he picked it up and took it home. He wondered how a Horsea would leave the water by itself and end up on the floor. He took care of the Horsea and it was healthy within a week. All his friends were leaving for their own journey, and Horsea decided to help Fredo go on his journey. As time passed Horsea evolved into Kingdra and Fredo had caught pokemon such as Scizor, Ninetails, and Jolteon. He defeated all of the gym leaders of Johto and went back to tell his parents about his accomplishment. When he got home his dad had just returned from the Hoenn and Sinnoh region. Fredo became friends with his dad's newly caught pokemon Sableye and Roserade. They both decided to go with him to challenge the Elite Four. On his way to the Pokemon League he saw Andrew, and Rachel. Andrew challenged Fredo to battle and as they were battling Rachel went in first to challenge Will. After Fredo beat Andrew, Rachel came out losing to Will. Andrew left very upset and went back home. Fredo went into the Elite Four. Beating Will, Koga, Bruno, and Karen. Now it was time to face the champion. He figured that Gold would be the champion after defeating Lance 4 years ago. He went into the room and he was surprised to see that the champion of Johto was not Gold but a man named Maxie. Maxie talked about Groudon and expanding the land and his time spent in Hoenn. After defeating Maxie, the room suddenly exploded and only the battle floor was left. With Fredo still standing on it, a group known as Team Magma were in airplanes sending out pokemon. Fredo's pokemon were two hurt to still fight and a man named Alder showed up and defeated them all. Maxie then challenged Fredo to come fight him in Hoenn. Maxie was holding an item known as the Blue Orb in his hand. Alder told Fredo that Maxie is very serious and he might destroy Hoenn if you dont show up. " You now represent Johto in this battle, represent well." Fredo became the challenge of the Pokemon League and left to Hoenn to challenge Maxie. As he arrived at Team Magma's base he saw Gold trapped in a room. Maxie came behind Fredo and said "I mean business boy, whenever you're ready come face the mighty power of Groudon." After Fredo went to challenge Maxie and Groudon no one has seem them again. Gold returned to Johto claiming he knows where Fredo has gone. Gold says "Fredo has gone to a new region, in search of a new power. The new kind of evolution. An evolution so great that it can take on legends."
