  1. I'm looking for Charmander, Torchic, Froakie, Larvesta or Axew. I can offer Togepi, Snivy, Bulbasaur, some Horseas with ok IVs + Aurora Beam (one of them is shiny), Trapinch, Riolu, Eevee.

I don't care about what IVs they have I'll probably breed them later on. If you want IVs on your pokemon it will take a while since I'm really busy with my work + I'm going to move to a different city soon too.

  2. For now good dragon 'mons are Flygon, Tyrantrum, Kingdra, Altaria, Druddigon, Noivern and Dragalge.

Dragalge is really slow but it's good, but if you want something faster then Flygon, Kingdra or Noivern are maybe your choices. Tyrantrum (+ with Dragon Dance Tyrantrum is a terrible monster since it's attack is already really high), Altaria and Druddigon had ok speed if I remember correctly.

  3. *Runs from a distance*

ME ME ME! I have Ideas!

1- A "egg move" tutor! For those of us too lazy to breed mons this late in the game!

2- A "punch move" tutor! Can you imagine a random guy be like "Real Men fight with their fists! Shall I teach a fisting move to your Pokémon?"

3- A vendor that appears at a random location daily that will buy items at full price! BUT! After you sell him stuff, he dissapears for the day!

    *Runs back to the hills*

I like this idea a lot, but I doubt it won't be put into the game... or these will be put into the post-game.

  4. No one has mentioned this yet but Milotic is legally obtainable in this episode, I found a prism scale in Citrine Mountain.

At this spot, it was in a pokeball

    23iwljm.jpg

Feebas evolved with a prism scale right ?

  5. But forget that, we're talking about episode 16, and there's going to be desert area I think

If that happens, you know what that means? DUGTRIOS WITH ARENA TRAP ERRWHERE

Time to hoard repels... or lead with a non-grounded 'mon since luckily Arena Traps don't effect flying types and 'mons with levitate. Not sure about balloon though.

  6. Oh I see, I already traded that so rip me. Though according to the obtainable list, it's still catchable in the wild or is a repeatable event. Wonder where its hidden...

I think the trades/events reset if they're changed so you should be able to get Trapinch. I'm not sure though.

  7. A song of ice and fire? Certainly some of the most compelling books I've ever read.

I recommend A Song of Ice and Fire too and I really recommend reading Andrzej Sapkowski's The Wicther fantasy series and 3 video games have been made based on them. I don't know even how to English today so I apologize for possible grammar errors.

  8. Donald Duck is really popular in Finland too. And PKNA was released in Finland too but with different name.. I can't remember what is what called in Finnish but I remember reading this as a child but it was Taikaviitta something (Taikaviitta is Paperinik's Finnish name and it means magic cloak or magic cape).

Ok I just made some research and PKNA was called Taikaviitta 2000 in Finland but it wasn't so popular in here so we got only 14 comic magazines of 52, well that might be the reason that they just disappeared, when I was a kid I was wondering a lot about that why it just disappeared... Sorry for possible bad English I'm too tired to think.

EDIT:// edited a little I noticed some errors haha

  9. BoeuFHbIIAAth0h.jpg

This photo is from 2014 and it's way too big and I'm on phone (I just grabbed this from my twitter) so I don't really have time to edit this and I'm not even sure can you edit the size of photos with my phone so.

    But here's my 13-year-old puppy.

  10. I'm going to be a librarian (or at least I applied to school where I can study that haha) and I'm currently working at the local library but it's not really a real job, I mean I don't get any salary from it but I get työmarkkinatuki, a social benefit paid to an unemployed person who is not entitled to ordinary unemployment benefits due to insufficient history of employment or extended, yeah that's the English word for työmarkkinatuki.

My friends call me often a LGBT-activist but that's kind of true since I was collecting names for the citizen initiative for the marriage equality. And I would collect names for the new trans law too if someone makes a citizen initiative about it.. maybe I should make a citizen initiative about it...

Well to put it short I'm a person who likes video games, movies, comics (both western and manga) tv-series, cartoons and anime and I'm really passionate about human rights.

  11. My pet peeves:

    - children in general, especially small children, because they yell, scream and mess up things

    - when people mess up the shelves (I work at a library and this is a new pet peeve of mine)

    - when people scratch plates with forks, knives etc. this sound hurts my head

    - when people don't keep their mouths close when they eat and also when they make "omnomnomnom"-sounds, stop it's gross

    - when you know you're 100% right but people still try argument

    - people that won't flush toilets

    - people who pee on the floor or on the toilet seat

    - people who put something to the toilets that doesn't obviously belong there

    - when customers use the staff's toilet and it clearly says STAFF ONLY in 3 languages (Finnish, Swedish, English).

    - people who lack reading comprehension (idk did I wrote it correctly, feel free to correct me if it's written wrong)

    - people who don't understand meaning of no

    - badly trained dogs

Okay I'll stop now until I write a novel.

  12. which european countries was it that say hi by kissing each cheek? seems excessive but hey, not my culture.

What do they say about us western cultures? More loud and open, yet harder to get to know? Something like that.

Japanese was my minor in college and I learned something of their reserve. In and out groups and all that. A whole lot of unwritten expectations and things that are way different from what Americans are used to. If you know some japanese and watch movies (less so with anime) with subtitles, you can actually see how understated a lot of things are or inferred that are stated directly in the subs.

Personally, I'm rather quiet in real life. I'm not one for small talk or pleasantries. So I understand.

I don't remember which European countries greeted people by kissing on cheek.. but I remember that it was one of those southern European countries.

I have studied a little bit Japanese but my skill level is basic... I want to learn some more though. You're right with those unwritten expectations and rules. I kind of hate it when many westerners think that Japanese people act like anime characters... pretty much every anime character would be considered a really rude person if they were real.

  13. Let's talk about cultural differences and culture shocks.

One of my biggest problems is when I'm talking to non-Finnish people (luckily Japanese, the other Nordics and Eastern Europeans share a similar culture to Finns so no one cares about the lack of small-talk haha).

When I was "an exchange student" in Germany, Wittenberg for a week in 2012, a really really big cultural shock and cultural gap struck or happened (?), sorry for my bad English my brain doesn't function because I'm too tired from the work. Well Finns are often been told that we're expressionless, introverted and shy (here's more about this culture thing because I'm too lazy to write it here).

In some cultures this is seen rude or weird. Well that was exactly what happened to me when I was in Germany. My host family introduced me to their neighbors and their relatives.. and it made me slightly uncomfortable to be honest and all that hugging...... In Finland only lovers and usually those who have just started dating hug in public etc or people who are relatives have a smaller personal space.

While I was staying in Germany I spent my evenings usually on my own, in my "room". My host family started thinking that I hated them and since I was being a typical Finn.. the family's son texted his friend who told to my friend that he is thinking what's wrong with him and his family, did I hate them or is something wrong etc.

I really felt bad when my friend told me about this and I immediately went to explain about Finnish culture. He and his family understood it luckily that it was just a misunderstanding and a cultural gap.

And fun fact in Finland people who talk a lot and try to force a small-talk are more likely to be

    A.) foreigners

    B.) drunk

    C.) old

    D.) lonely

E.) or all of the above.

I'd like to hear some culture shocks you have experienced (and explanations why the culture shock happened).

P.S What's the right verb when a culture shock "happens" is it happen or something else because I don't know and Finnish-English wordbook isn't helping at the moment (or I'm searching the wrong words haha).
