Try Trick Room if speed is an issue. You can teach it to Mimikyu and you get one for free by doing the Mirage event at the Desert. @DarkLucario79

We can catch Mimikyu!? Alright I know what I'm doing after figuring out the puzzle for that Crystal/Stone in the cave that leads to Bagon.

Effect up means when the move is used, it has a stronger effect.

His Rampardos is holding a Choice Scarf.

SERIOUSLY!? Well unless I get some luck this might be the end of the road for me then.

    Thanks for answering

  3. Ok so it says Rock Polish's effect up, so does that mean that the field has a Rock Polish Effect? Or that IF Rock Polish is used it'll boost more than normal?

The spoiler below relates to a battle in E18, which is why I'm asking.

    Spoiler

If it doesn't add a Rock Polish effect then can someone explain how does Hardy's Rampardos have a Speed over 244 when the highest (at lv 100) is 236? It outsped my Liligant who has a Speed of 244.

  4. I know I need and I have 16 Badges and a fire type with Heat Wave.

Is there anything else I need to do to get the snow to melt? Do I need to be in a certain part of the story?

    Spoiler

I haven't beaten the double battle against the mind controlled Cain, do I need to beat that story area before I can get to Bagon?

  5. Gardevoir is definitely my signature! Reason for this is cause Gardevoir became one of my best Pokemon back when I initially started playing Pokemon all together. I've done countless battle's where I should have lost but I won because she survived an attack that's usually 1 Hit KO!

  6. Shadow Mewtwo is part of Rejuvenation. I have never seen one in Reborn, so my guess is no. Ame already gave herself a ton of tasks with E16, let alone all the potential post game content.

I haven't played Rejuvination...Well I mean the new one from Pokken Tournament, and it's just an idea for the future doesn't really don't expect to see Mewtwo any time soon unless Team Meteor somehow finds him...

  7. I know that we've already gotten new custom Shiny Pokemon in here but I just though now that there's a Shadow Mewtwo how about having him for the Shiny form, kind of like Lugia? Don't know just an idea...what do you guys think?

  8. Good luck! Watch out for the Talonflame as well, it has Gale Wings, so it's flying type moves have their priority increased D:

Yea I guessed it the moment I saw she had one but I just caught a decent Boldor with Stealth Rock. So after training my 3 new Pokemon hopefully I'll be able to defeat her easily.

Edit: Thinking about it Archeops probably has a Choice Band because it's pretty fast alone and the power of Rock Slide is terrifying...

That's because you've finished E15 so they unlock the gate.

This is so you can return between episodes.

For a certain amount of time you can go out the gate and does what he said teleports you to Route 1.

    EDIT:

    I WON!!! PURE LUCK!!!

Decided to try out with just the Pokemon I caught without training and I managed to win with luck!

  9. TC, I just finished that boss fight as well, today too >_>

I wrote myself a little mini guide on notepad to get through it, so I might be able to help.

For Archeops, it has a choice *something* item equipped. So, it can only use the same move over and over again. Use that to your advantage. For example, I have a Vanilluxe, Scrafty, and Azumarill on my team. I threw my Vanilluxe, weak to rock slide, out against Archeops, so it would bait out the rock slide, locking Archeops into rock slide. Then, I would switch my pokemon to Scrafty, very resistant to rock slide. I'd use dragon dance to set Scrafty up, then kill Archeops, then dealt with the rest of the team, up until TalonFlame.

The Archeops moveset I saw it had was: Rock Slide, Acrobatics, and U-Turn. I don't know what it's fourth move was, it never used it against me.

As for the Mega Altaria, that thing one shot my entire team, aside from Typhlosion, and just barely. I ended up just cheesing it, using my drifbloon w/ Destiny Bond + quick claw.

Hope this helps! If another of Ciel's pokemon causes you trouble, I can help with that :D

Thanks I'll see what I can do with this :D unfortunately I don't have a Scraggy or Scrafty so I'll have to use something else.

  10. Ok after seeing what all of you guys are saying here's the plan...

Catch Sneasel (question does it need to know Icicle Crash when you find it or can I take it to the Move Relearner?)

    Catch Boldore

Try Strength Glitch (Luckily I did clear all the logs and webs up in the North)

    Catch Beldum

    TRAIN!!!

Well Sneasel has been caught, it is Shiny with decent IVs

    Sneasel 50

    Adamant

    Inner Focus

    Snatch

    Punishment

    Icicle Crash

    Ice Shard

    HP 15

    ATK 20

    DEF 4

    SP.ATK 23

    SP.DEF 18

    SPD 16

  11. Yea, at this point, I guess you could go out and get some new pokes. There's an event sneasel somewhere in the icy cave that would probably come in pretty handy. All you need is rock smash. There are a couple of decent rock pokemon after Agate city in the wild too, like Dwebble and Rhyhorn

I saw the Sneasel I just don't know if I can find it again hopefully I will...Rhyperior would be pretty good (wish I could get a Head Smash Rock Head Aggron instead though)...

  12. Hm. I'd try getting a trick room to last a turn after killing togekiss and then getting a stun spore off on the aerodactyl. From there, I'd try to set up on Ciel with your Gardevoir

This is how I start out the battle.

    1. Roserade Stun Spore
    2. Switch to Gothitelle use Charge Beam to power up a few times healing if necessary.
    3. I've tried 2 different tactics...

Use Trick Room when Togekiss is in the red, problem is due to being Paralyzed it goes first and spams Air Slash until Gothitelle is either fainted or Trick Room runs out.

    or

Defeat Togekiss usually brings out Archeops, try to use Trick Room but Gothitelle is defeated by Rock Slide even at max health.

Uhm I guess then your best chance is to get a Bronzor and a Graveler on route 3 and train them...use them in your battle instead of Gothitelle and Banette/Blaziken since Roserade can take a hit from Altaria (I think) and Stun Spore it.
Using the Trick Room strategy should help you out, just spam Gyro Ball with Bronzong, Rock Slide/Blast with Golem and Heracross, then Moonblast that bulky piece of cotton that Altaria is.
EDIT: Oh shit the Gliscor :S Uhm I think you should also get a Beartic(?

Can they be found past Argate?

Edit: She has a Gliscor too!? Let me guess Poison Heal Protect and Roost...I'll see if I can find a Beartic...
  13. Pretty solid team. Could you describe how the battles usually go, like what part into the battle do things usually start going south?

Usually around her 2nd Pokemon...Her first Togekiss takes a while but isn't too much of a problem, the problem is her Archeops just outspeeds and spams Rock Slide over and over which ends up 1 Hit KO almost my entire team and by the time I manage to kill it I'm down to 1 Pokemon...

  15. Technically, you can't get back into Reborn City until E16, but at the end of each episode, the Game temporarily let's you go back to do some events and such. There are a bunch of Ice and Rock types available to you so you can use those to try and beat that Altaria. I mean like any Ice Type that's not Delibird would probably help you out a lot.

I guess hopefully my current guys won't destroy them and I'll be able to catch something, I'm also not sure of how much EV training I'll be able to do if any at all though...

  16. Nope :/ You can't get back until you finish the current episode. You must gotta find a way to slap that Altaria

You're kidding...then I'm stuck cause I haven't caught anything that can stand up to her flying types...

  17. I don't have anything that can survive Ciel's attacks, so I'm trying to return to Reborn City to train some new Pokemon but the guards aren't letting me through. Is there another way back to Reborn City maybe through the mountain? If so what's the route?
