    In my experience, people are generally welcoming around here, but I did notice one thing when I was a newbie myself (in other words not so long ago): sometimes older members have this kind of arrogant, know-it-all attitude that can make things unpleasant, especially for the more recently registered users. To be clear I'm not targetting anyone in particular; we've almost all been like that at some point, from vets to aces to mods.

     

    If I had a little piece of advice to give people who are talking to new (and old) members, it would be: please be patient, respectful, and humble. Even when you disagree with someone. Especially when you disagree with someone.

    I'm not a very patient person myself, but I'll do my best to live and act by my own advice.

    With everyone's efforts, this place can be  -- and remain -- welcoming to everyone, whether they're just here for the games, or to make it their second home. Overall I've had a nice time hanging around here, and I wish all the other members to be as lucky as I've been.

    Yo I’m with all of this but can I just expand slightly. Instead of being nice just to newcomers how about we just decide to “be nice.” Period. It really isn’t that difficult to just treat others nicely regardless of how long they have or haven’t been here.  It’s really not that hard I promise.  You guys are dope and I know it can get a little aggressive but I really and truly believe it’s doable.

    I don't see why not honestly, it seems like a pretty fun concept I don't know who'd I'd ship the MC with he just seems like the ultimate homie tbh. I like the idea of the squad and having friendship points that you (if one was to have enough points) could progress into a relationship or if you're not looking for that then just having a really powerful friendship is kinda clean. I'd call it doing the Persona way. As for Melia in particular, hard pass personally. I don't dislike her character, but she seems pretty cemented with Venam after the latest update, she's not wifey material in my extremely humble opinion, and most importantly HER CHAKRAS AREN'T ALIGNED. Honestly, if I'd have the MC wife anyone it'd probably be Valerie or Crescent because they seem like the only ones really prepared or mature enough to deal with any kind of romantic entanglement as is.

    I got overzealous after finishing the update, so this is my full team rn:

    Lycanroc

    Kommo-o

    Arcanine

    Decidueye

    Alolan Raichu (no longer in the squad)

    Talonflame

     

    Throughout though I started getting crazy lucky with shinys and thought I might as well put them to use so I started using

     

    S. Electubuzz (I forgot to take him out of my party for the screenshot)

    S. Talonflame (A second one that happened to be shiny while doing the Zumi quest line)

    S. Gallade

     

    I started getting cocky after that though and really wanted a shiny alolanvulpix so I worked for that one and now she's the star of my team

     

    Everything else I just prepared for v10 because I wanted to have a bunch of options

    So, weird problem! after playing as Emma in Blacksteeple my sprite switched to Marianette (gym leader version) the game seems to be reading all her sprites as boy_2's trainer sprites even the cut-ins for important battles are being replaced by Marianette. I figure it's cause I imported a sprite (reborn's kuro)  but the problem has only surfaced now. I did go back and redownload the patch reinstalling the 9.2 patch files if that helps at all.  Sorry for the trouble guys! (that being said I don't know if the rxdata is what's needed to fix this one.)

    chapter 12+ spoilers birthright

    so the game is still amazing on chapter 15 or 16 I can't remember and just recruited the lobster. My favorite supports right now are saizo cause they all are essentially him not taking anyone's shit and it's beautiful. I'm kinda getting over the lunatic curve for now and the scene in chapter 13 with camila gave me some feels. I think my favorite Nohr royalty is Leo and Camila's close behind. Anyone have a favorite scene or support yet?

    MAP 10 ON LUNATIC IN BIRTHRIGHT IS EVIL.

    NINJAS ARE EVIL.

    game is fantastic I have both, but haven't opened conquest yet so I'm doing a lunatic mode run in birthright. Very impressed I'm digging the story. People were shitting on this game for how easy it was supposed to be, but no it's actually pretty difficult honestly or at least on lunatic it is. I spent at least 7 hours on chapter 10 alone tbh. The story is great the characters are great If anything I don't like how fast the Nohr characters shift on you once you made your choice, but I will say fighting against your family after creating those connections pulls at the heart strings pretty well adding to the story. Characters so far are dope and there hasn't been one support that hasn't been adorable. They've taken to using supports to really delve into backstory, of any kind like they don't even hint that saizo's father was killed unless you work through some of the supports. Of course all the characters even the more serious ones have their own little quirks and I'm really enjoying it so far.

    Hardy is the most precious cinnabun and I will protect him.

    I knew it when I saw him on Gossip Gardevoir's Gym Profiles If I remember his quote was something like, "See here's the thing, Rock never got bad. It's the sleeping giant!" In reference to his type choice and the discovery of steel type pokemon. It was apparent he was the legendary precious child.

    Anyways I went out and payed off conquest today I'ma do the same for birthright the week after next so I'm a little excited. Even with the minor removed content I don't think the face petting is a big thing because it's mainly a japanese mechanic if that makes sense specifically with the idol master genre of games. I understand why they wouldn't even looking at the general make up of this thread you can get some idea of why it wasn't included. I can't fault nintendo for that. The drugging thing I don't really care too much for either. word is the whole thing spiraled out of control cause of some tumblr post about it. I don't know what the original scene portrays exactly, but I doubt it was anything horrific, or at least as horrific as tumblr most likely made it seem.
