I actually went and got a Magneton for this fight. I also used Mawile and Vanniluxe (purified) since Vanniluxe Mirror Coat KOs her special focused team. Also walls quite a bit

I run Intense mode and beat all the gym leaders with stuff like Magcargo, Exploud, Lurantis etc. The game can be really hard and sometimes force you to reset quite a bit before you figure the harder battles out, but nothing too stupid so far. As long as you use your resources right you won't be forced to pick overpowered mons imo

Phantom Force should be allowed to break through barriers such as Protect, Detect, Spiky Shield, King's Shield, and Mat Block. However, one of her lowly opponents was able to protect themselves.

Karrablast is in Chrysolia forest, in Spinel Town someone will trade you Shelmet for Karrablast.

But that would get you Accelgor; you want Escavalier, so Azurine Island has Shelmets for you. The trader for it is the same as Karrablast's.

edit: I use an Accelgor myself so I'm 99% positive this is right ._.

With the common candy, would Pokemon learn moves like they would if they were leveling up?

Like, Shuppet learns Faint Attack at level 28, but Shuppet's level 29. If I used a common candy would it try to learn Faint Attack?

Do you know where to get Skitty? I saw this lady send out Skitty near the Onyx Arcade.

Also, do you know how to evolve the Togepi you got from the Daycare Man?

You need a Hyper Potion, go to the house next to the Pokemon Center in Coral Ward.

Togepi evolves by friendship, use the Salons to raise it to max (for a price so you may need to train it a bit if you don't wanna go bankrupt)
