  1. I honestly thought it would be cool if Ame herself was the Champion. Like how you battle Professor Sycamore in X&Y the person who gave you your starter, and cares so deeply for the region and pokemon turns out to be a strong trainer. Like that deleted battle from the original Red and Green beta where you battle Professor Oak after becoming champion.

  2. The issue is time zones for a lot of people on the forums. So unless you are on your 3ds at all times, there will always be people you don't have all 3 pokemon for, unless you coordinate when you both will be online. I have added about 70 friend codes, and the most I have ever had online at one time is 8. People play pokemon in their free time, and when they get the chance is different for everyone. Also, I have gotten hidden abilities from safaris with only 2 pokemon.

  3. Okay, this was tough. Since I voted gen 4 as my least favorite because of how underwhelming Diamod and pearl were. But I loved Heart Gold and Soul Silver, but that was because of my love for gen 2. Even though heart gold was great even if you hadn't played gen 2. But since gen 2 was my first gen, I have a special place for it. I did not play black or white, but white 2 was a ton of fun.

  4. I would be interested to see if the soul dew turned out to be a mega stone, especially since it was deemed uber in past gens. The pic for Latias was blue, what is up with that? And I have said from the begining that all starters should get mega forms, and Sceptile and Swampert being viable in OU again would be awesome.

  5. Nice team, lots of threats. Notes: Defog's new mechanic is cool, since No spinners and no hazzards, but how does it work for you? I feel like scizor is too slow and having only bullet punch means no u-turning out. You might consider a stab moonblast on the sylveon too. Moon blast has more power than Hyper voice, and it can lower sp. atk, and Pixalate is sort of a useless ability, but cute charm is evil, so whatever.

  6. Hmmmm, it has been a while since I beat Flobot, but lets see....I recall using poison powder with bellsprout on cradily. After that point, I wailed on it with Makuhita while it built up curse boosts, and then just before it got in super potion/recover range, I used whirlwind so it would lose all it the boosts. Getting her to waste the potions early helps.

Other troublesome battles: My first play-through was blind, so I went in guns blazing every battle and brute forced it. I never had to train up a specific pokemon for any one battle... Playing like that was fun, but honestly some wins were luck based...second play through is my attempt at the "good" ending, so I have not lost once this time around so here are my strats:

Shade: focus of this is for the Chandelure: Gyrados is definitely the MVP of this battle, with the super effective bite, and neutral hit from energy ball (which is slade's water check) I brute forced the other pokemon with bulk up speed boost blaziken (actually come to think of it, that is most major battles) I would also suggest finding Zorua, if you are really having trouble. Although I still can't find the thing.

Kiki: aCROBATics...seriously, with an adamant crobat, she is sort of a push over. Be warned, most of her pokemon have either ice punch or stone edge, for that very purpose, so my Gardevoir picked up the slack there. As for the lucario, burn it to a crisp. Actually, if you have a will o wisping coffergre...the mummy thing, use that on the medicham. Her Gallade does have shadow sneak, so try a burn and switch tactic.

Solaris: I won using FEAR and leech seed, same strat I have seen floating around. As soon as the Daycare mission was complete, I plopped my Ratatta in there just for this purpose.

Aya: I don't really have a strategy here... because by this point in my second play-through I had an earth power Flygon and a psychic using Gardevoir. Later switched her out for Alakazam.

Sarah: Get rid of the damn hail. Only time I used my Vulpix, not that I don't like the Fire Fox, just already have an uber level fire team member. Also, don't be afraid to switch out when your speed gets lowered too many times by icy wind.

Noel?...I guess don't let the Clefable set up? I know this battle gives some people trouble, but I never thought he was tough, but soft boiled is very tedious after taking out his other 5 team members.

  7. Actually when it is maxed out, she says your pokemon adores you. Salon ladies raise it faster, and no stat loss, but are more exspensive. I use the ladies once or twice, and actually end up using the berries for EV correction more than anything. Burning off unuseful EVs in this game actually help a lot. The happiness gain is just a bonus for me really. XD

  8. Honestly, redone versions of current sprites would work, since any diversity would be welcome. Well if we are getting technical, all the trainers in gens 1-4 were Japanese, (sans Lt. Surge and I gues Giovanni) I suspect most dyed their hair, as is common Japan. Gen 5 having black NPC hang out at a basketball court, while having the Unova region based on New York is understandable, I guess. Since some of my Japanese friends have told me that they have never seen a black person before visiting the US, it is somewhat expected they would think of sterotypes, just be glad they aren't the negative ones. In X & Y we get player custumization, which will be great, but still probably limited as far as skin color selection.

  9. Alright...ba dum dum. Yeah, nervous is what I would call that video...but I would love to see teasers and trailers for upcoming episodes. The awkward level makes it more funny and therefore more entertaining XD. What games would you do a let's play of? Also...maybe try this in a brighter room? Half of your face is shadowed over the whole time hun.
