Hello. It me. I was wondering if after all these weeks you'd like to meet.
Ah well let's get to the point.
I just wanna point out that under the first spoiler there is slightly sliced up meteor grunts, of course nothing gory but blood anyway. (please tell if it's not okay i'll remove it right away (i read the community rules but i found nothing that forbids this but i might have missed something)) So if you still wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat remembering that whole Titania ordeal skip the first one~

What am I even doing anymore. So this was meant to be like cool epic pokemon battle. At least twice this wide and battle in the middle epic and dramatic and everything I wanted to draw. But then I was like "fuck this is huge i might not have enough time to finish serras gym" And since I had already started and didn't want to waste the background here's the second best. Blake soaring with the grace of dying seagull. I am very sorry.
Somebody should get Solaris a vacation because that man might die stress related heart attack before anybody catches enough time to stab him on the back.
Btw if anybody wonders which of my drawings I have ever related to most it's this fucking thing.

I still want to know why everybody and their grandma draws Alice with a longsleeve school uniform jacket and odd boot-shoes
Because we can draw what we want. Since this is just fanart made for our own enjoyment, we draw what we pleases us, aesthetically or otherwise. I personally am not a fan of Alice's default clothing, so I drew a blouse, blazer, and boots. There is one more personal reason for why I do it though...
That's understandable , but the shoes alice has are relatively simple iirc, so it shall not take you long. The school uniform jacket thing bugs me far more for some reason D: Feels like it's not her character anymore or wellp, at least I just never pictured as the diligent schoolgirl character
Shortly before I discovered Reborn, I created a character design that looks eerily similar to Alice. When started playing the game, I substituted Alice in for my OC, so when I draw the blonde protag, it feels wrong to draw Alice and not her lolol

Ari can most definitely be black. My personal headcanon though is that they're SE Asian cause that's what I am (and you never see us like, anywhere in the media :/)

I posted them over in another thread but I tried to make cover art for Reborn if the game was on cartridge/card/discSo I came up with an idea from one of the recent threads in The Wasteland (http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=13701) that brought up the idea of cover art/box art for Pokemon Reborn if it had or needed any. Even though Reborn is a downloadable game instead of a cartridge/card/disc game and doesn't actually need cover art it's still a cool idea and tbh the game is quite deserving of one, so I spent a few hours today and yesterday making these but I'm stuck between what looks better so I was hoping I could get some people to comment on it...

The fan art in the two spoilers has poor resolution but I can probably invest the time into fixing that. I've started working on a back cover with screenshots, the game description on the download page and listed features of the game included but I don't want to do any extra work on that until it's decided which of the above three^ front covers are best so both sides compliment each other. After that I can post the full cover art to show everyone and see what comments people have on it.

When you hire an artist to do a commission, you're literally asking them for their time. A really good artist will charge upwards of $200, while others who think their art isn't as good as that person's will charge $25. Not only that, but artists don't make much in the first place. They get so much shit for charging reasonable prices for their time, which can be well over a day, maybe even a week for their full effort. I think asking someone for two days of their time enlists them charging $200. My dad is a full time freelance artist, so I kind of have a better grasp on it.
I hope that doesn't sound mean spirited or anything.

last is ari allaway because shaved blonde dreads and green eyes (im assuming they're either contacts or ari isn't actually black but some other dark skin race, black people dont have green eyes) is hella cool

I think ZEL is fine as is. The entity that is ZEL is neither just male or female anymore, so an androgynous body seems fitting.

All you have to do now is right-click on the image and select "Copy image URL."
In this forum's "reply to this topic" box thingy, there's a button called "Image" just below the Smiley and Text Color bottons. Click on that and a box should pop up called Image Properties. Paste the URL you copied into the space provided, and you're done~

Hello everyone! For awhile, I've been working on a large reborn drawing (and I mean LARGE) of all the gym leaders
So far I have 9 of 20 gym leaders done, and made a speedpaint of Radomus

It's been 84 years... but hi guys. The new pics on page 4 are great! And Cairon, there is no such thing as too much Cain~ We finally got some other leaders drawn too!
I'll be updating the first post and adding the newer pictures towards the top of the list rather than the bottom so the exciting new stuff will be more visible.
As for my stuff...
I've done like, next to nothing in terms of any art lately.
I've been trying to draw but none of my sketches look good and it's just really, really frustrating. Like, why even bother? v.vI did scan a sketch though so y'all can have that at least. Have some Fern and Vero
Unfortunately, I won't be able to color it 'cause my laptop's screen decided to fritz up so now everything in grayscale with pink lines running down. Don't know when I'll be able to get screen replacement but sketches are cool, right?
I also tried drawing Ari, Decibel, and Elias but they need a lot of work. I'll share those when they're presentable, heh.

Yeah, I assumed you were going for a chibi. I was just giving a general suggestion for your future non-chibi endeavors ^^
I actually sketch my stuff on paper and import them onto my PC too. I've used GIMP to color in the past before. It's nice, but Paint Tool SAI is more easier to use from my experience. You usually have to pay for it, but there are people who would give you the full english version for free if you look around a little. Try it out and see if you like it?

I prefer the colored one. It fits more with Terra's, ahem, colorful personality.
Since you're starting out as an artist, I recommend studying realistic anatomy. Gotta get down your proportions, yo~
Seriously.
After you get that down, you can start doing stylistic crazy stuff. It's probably a lot easier going from realism --> cartoony than the other way around lol.
May I ask what program you're using? Is it the GIMP thing? Just curious.
Also, I'll add your drawing to the front page later. I'm on my phone now so formatting it wpuld be difficult atm v.v;
