i left it on and i'm seeing progress. So darn slow. I'll leave it on for the night

Sure enough I installed the windows 8 or up downloader, but it comes with an updater and version file, i open the version file, click to install, bar doesnt get full nor shows any progress and it just creates a core-win file. What do i have to do?
