The way I got 3 King's Rocks in a matter of minutes was to catch everything in Tanzan Cove except for Poliwhirl and give my Compound Eyes pokemon the Magnetic Lure held item acquired by giving one of the NPCs in Beryl exactly $5000 at once. Poliwhirls only appear in the mornings. That way, you will only encounter Poliwhirl and have a good chance of having it carry the King's Rock.
Huh. I was wrong. It turns out that Megahorn is an egg move for Karrablast from Heracross or Scolipede, not something it or Escavalier learns by level-up. One would think that a Bug with a horn would learn Megahorn on its own...
Thanks for the tip! And yeah, pokemon is weird like that sometimes

Are you utilizing the EXP candy trainers in the Grand Hall and the Power held items (from the dept store)? Those'll make grinding much faster.
As for Karrablast, save and make sure you're actually able to evolve it with a Link Stone before you train it. If not, you'll need to catch a Shelmet from Azurine and trade it in Spinel Town to get Escavalier.
Escavalier would make an excellent King, actually, but as you'll want to invest in its HP, you should try to get a King's Rock from the Poliwhirls in Tanzan Cove (morning, bring a pokemon with Compound Eyes such as Butterfree or Venonat and catch them or use Thief/Covet) and give it to Escavalier before the fight to lock it into being the King and fire off priority Megahorn and Iron Head.
You mentioned megahorn but I don't see a way to get it where I'm at now, is there something I'm missing?
Also is there a good way to get the king rock? I've been grinding for hours and didn't find one.

The trainers at the top right corner in the grand hall, they give exp candies upon defeat, and are repeatable trainers
Oh thanks I didn't know that

I have the power items, but what are the exp candy trainers?

Tsareena utterly destroys Radomus. Her Queenly Majesty ability completely nulls Metagross (the King) and boosts her damage by 1.5x, easily letting her 1HKO Slowking while protecting whatever else from Metagross. I've had Radomus with Metagross just sitting there like a lump while Tsareena was out, allowing me to gang up on his other pokemon until Metagross was alone.
Tsareena is easily acquired as well, as all it takes is getting the Glameow from the Glamazonia, showing it to the happiness checker in the other salon, and beating her lv45 Tsareena.
Spiritomb: Its priority attacks in Sucker Punch and Shadow Sneak are effective on Radomus's team and receive a boost from the field. Take an Odd Keystone to the back room in Bysbyxion Tunnels to catch one.
Honchkrow: It's slow enough that it isn't ideal for most gyms, but a well-placed Brave Bird should send Gallade packing and its Sucker Punch is boosted by the field. Just be careful of getting hit by almost any attack that isn't Psychic type, as many attacks will have Rock added. Honchkrow is more complicated, as it requires clearing the Aqua/Magma gang questline then bringing Pokesnacks to Aqua's hideout at night while it's windy.
Thanks, I'll probably go for Tsareena or Spiritomb.
Also I caught a Karablast while grinding them up. Lv 48, thoughts?

I second what the others have said. Noibat is too weak for Reborn and Weepinbell needs a grass stone to evolve, which is hard to come by, and would like sun to function, which will clash with mega Swampert in the future. Tangrowth can help with speed control if you teach it stun spore and is a pretty decent grass type. Tsareena is also a pretty decent mon to use and it doesn't require a stone which is a plus. Roserade does require a stone to use, but is pretty powerfull. Ludicolo also needs a stone, but synergises with mega Swampert in the future as a secondary swift swimmer if you do decide to run a rain team. I'd say use a Venomoth to replace Noibat, but Venomoth can't use its poison stab in Reborn as the related TM is not available, so I won't recommend it. Swalot is a worthy consideration in my opinion instead, as it evolves relatively early and can take care of the grass and fighting types Noibat would have been tasked to. Though it is lacking on the stats department and you'd like to replace it eventually I fear. Which would be a good time to bring back Noibat to the team, fully evolved of course. Anyway Granbull is pretty good in Reborn if slow, and Floatzel is fast and strong for this part of the game but you already have a water type in Swampert, which though slower is also strong and has a dual typing. Finally Jellicent is decent for the upcoming fights, which are fire and fighting (with two fighting-psychic types), though not as good against the ghost types.
Thanks for the reply, this was really helpful.

Hey there, normally I don't pay too much about the composition of my team outside of type coverage and my personal favorites, but I just got past Shelly and noticed I've been struggling in battles every now and then. I was wondering if anyone could take a look at my current team and see if there is anything I could stand to improve.
Current team:
Ona(Weepinbell)-lv 29-Mild nature- Gluttony
Nature Power
Sleep powder
Knock off
Acid
Hot Fudge(Camerupt)-lv 36-Serious nature-Anger point
Earth Power
Rock Slide
Lava Plume
Stockpile
Bass Boost(Noibat)-lv 34-Calm nature-Telepathy
Roost
Wing Attack(Wanted to keep gust, but accidental missclick changed that)
Air cutter
Cut
Zebby(Zebstrika)-lv 34- Hardy Nature- Lightning Rod
Pursuit
Stomp
Spark
Flame charge
Albino(Meowstick Fem)-lv 36-Gental nature-Infiltrator
Extrasensory
Fake out
Shadow Ball
Psyshock
Slaps(Marshstomp)-lv 34-Bold nature-Torrent

Water gun
Rock Smash
I'm not the best when it comes to formulating teams, so any help would be appreciated. Other than that, here's whats in my box:

Would you mind sharing some screenshots of the question computers and the door you're trying to go through (or just your save file I guess)?
Here's a screen shot of the door (also yes I made sure to check that all the questions were answered), as well as the save file data.

Even though I've finished all the questions on the computers, the door to the gym still says "locked". Am I missing something or is there something wrong with my file?

Just curious because I've had two so far, but what Pokemon have you picked up on a whim (either to fill out a team or just because it's the early game and you take whatever you can get) and expected to drop at the first opportunity only to watch as they somehow become an unstoppable monster?
For me, the Skill Share Minccino has been carrying me far. I never thought they would be one of the core members of the party, but the mix of support moves and multi-hits has proven invaluable.
