I've never bothered with breeding for IV's or moves, mostly because I don't care at all about IV's. I prefer to use mons as I find them, the way they are naturally instead of manipulating them to be perfect.

I got a pretty nice one, now I'm kind of EV training it, fortunally on the grass out there most pokémons gives EV's in Attack and Speed, so by the time it gets to level 15 or so I'll train other ones.

I've also never been one for EV training, it just seems like another layer of grinding, you have to take out like 255 pokemon per pokemon that's 1550 pokemon per team and that's if you wanna keep them. I could understand doing it for competitive but not for a playthrough that's just too much work for me.
