Already sold it didnt know it was for a quest. And I saw a post that said in episode 18 Parasects dont hold them anymore.

You can always ask somebody to trade you 1. This is true, it can no longer be farmed. Same goes for Comet Shard, which could be found on Lunatone, Solrock and Glitch-World Clefairy, before.

 

Reborn's loot-table, concerning wild Pokemon held-items, was updated to gen 7. This means, some items are axed and can only be found in stationary positions (like said BalmMushroom you accidentally sold), or somebody else having a save from older episode, trade to those who need it.
