Helix Fossils can be found while mining, but they're pretty rare, so you should probably find a rock, save next to it, and then mine it and soft reset until you get one. Quote

So roughly 2 months from now if I had to guess, but don't hold me to it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.
