Recatch Rotom?

Is it possible to re-catch event pokemon? More specifically, is it possible to obtain Rotom even after I accidentally defeated him?

I am really starting to regret doing so, as I noticed in this new episode that there was a machine for Rotom transformations. If there is not a way to obtain him in-game, is it possible that someone here has enough knowledge to find another way to obtain him? Thanks in advance.

No if you faint event pokemon they're gone. That's why many people will often recommend to save just before the encounter so you can soft reset, should something not be to your liking.
