    Hey! It's been two years? How are you? How are the kids? No kids? Okay. Well.... Anyway. It's time.

    I'm not going to make a huge post about how much of a hell year 2020 was... like, in general, because I'm going to talk about that on stream at some point. So I'm just gonna hand over the game. Sound good? yes. Wait no, I lied.

    First, we have a brand new website!

    There's a lot of cool things and we'll be actively updating things as time goes on. (No, we're not leaving Reborn. We just felt like it was necessary for us to have our own space too, finally :) )

     

    Due to the extreme amount of changes and additions, old save files that have not completed v12 data will no longer work correctly. There are still some places you shouldn't save.

    I'm serious. We won't help people who aren't following directions. 

     

    Couple things to note. 

    - Controls have changed since transferring over to MKXP. Press F1 to change them if you wish.

    • M is speed up now. 
    • Q/W are PG UP and PG Down respectively.
    • Registered Items key bindings are alt and F5.

     

    For MAC users

    You'll have to drop the file in your applications folder for things to work.

    Additionally, you'll have to allow it to run from your security settings.

     

    There's a special gift for you at the Gearen Lab (After defeating Venam) and or The Central Building in GDC! They are the same gift, so once you pick up one from one area, the other will disappear. This is a great gift. You really should pick it up. Trust me.

    - Fixed team swapping error that caused parties to revert.
    - Fixed the Help Center issue in Kristiline that blocked Eevee from being obtainable.
    - Fixed rare issue where the story wouldn't progress after beating Valarie in the Distant Time.

    Did you edit the PBS files and it just doesn't recompile? That's what happens for me.

    Yes, I did. And when I try to recompile (by holding ctrl) it doesn't happen. I also get some error messages on the black screen that opens with the game if you do it with rpgm xp but these errors are independent from me trying to recompile or not.

    Aevium Chandelure still seems to have incorrect moves as it is still unable to learn the RM for Zap Cannon despite learning it through level up.


    EDIT: also after looking the PBS files dont seem to contain anything about alternate forms for any of the pokemon, is there a pokemonforms.txt that is missing or something?

    It’s a script file. In the Scripts folder. I think it’s named something along the lines of Multiple Forms.

    hmm strange im not finding anything about forms in the scripts folder either

    Edit: Ignore this, I found it right after I posted, looked for like 30 mins being blind, made the post and kept looking and found it in like 2 mins....

    Okay double posting, but correct me if Im wrong here and these will be in spoilers because it contains info about a rift pokemon and a aevian pokemon:

    Now this means that in order for the pokemon to be the aevian its form number must = 1 and for rift its form = 2
    But if you look at this

    It says that only form 2, which we know is the rift form, is the one that is able to learn TMs and move tutor moves, while form 1 which is the Aevian form does not have any list of TMs that it can learn.

    Unless I am looking at this wrong, this explains why we are not able to teach Aevian Chandelure any moves and all that needs to be changed is that in the TMs list needs to become a when correct?

    Looking at others this appears to be whats wrong with Toxtrixity as well.

    Lapras on the otherhand is able to learn TMs fine, because Aevian Lapras IS form 2 (because Mega is form 1), so when that code was copy pasted for Lapras it was already correct and didn't need to be edited. This also explains why Lampet is able to learn TMs because in the file this number IS a 1 for its form, while when it evolves to Chandelure, it isnt.

     

     

    EDIT: Ok yes, I tested it and was able to fix it so I am correct, the part where it says pokemon.form==1, that needs to say pokemon.form==2 because that is supposed to be referencing the Rift Chandelure and the part where it says .when 2; movelist...', that part instead needs to say 'when 1; movelist...'

    Update: Found out how to compile the changes in the PBS files. You need to compile them within the debug console when you playtest. Then when you restart it, the changes should be there.

    Can you explain that a little bit more in detail? I don't know what you mean with compiling while being in the debug console.

    Okay so when you playtest, the game opens and you have access to the debug menu (when you open up the menu in game - above exit game). Click that and scroll down until you see compile data.
     

    Compiling should take some. After you’re done, it should say something along the lines of compiling completed and then you can restart (f12) and the changes you had previously made in the one should now be in the game.

    Anyone know where the move relearner for sherdian village is I forgot where she was but I think she’s  somewhere on terajuma island i just don’t know where I’m really stuck on this so any information to where the move relearner is would help, also I’m on the valor mountain part

    After I added my new pokemon to the game I keep getting this error:

    Script 'PokeBattle_Pokemon' line 909:ArgumentError occured. The species number (no. 893 of 890) is invalid.

    What did I do wrong?

    so I'm currently at the part after you beat the Puppet Master, after that small part with Saki in the hotel, I can't progress in the base because I can't interact with anything? I just walk through walls and can enter any room. anyone else having the same problem?

    it's because the compiling didn't save and its trying to read the custom pokemon's data in the PBS file. im not sure how to compile the data upon startup either and compiling in the debug menu doesnt work as it doesnt save its changes when you exit out of the game

    Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the adjustments you guys brought and will bring in future.I am kinda busy with graduation exams and pressurized with works these days.So haven't touched the game after the first 3 hours and so. After i am done with work i will definitely play the game and can give a better review.

    Are you guys happy with balance state of Venam gym right now ? I always thought to be really easy in V12 , cause level cap being 20 just trivializes her gym, I never battle her with level cap being 15 , but the level cap being 18 is kinda easy , even on intense itemless set mode, I know she is basically a tutorial  about field effects , but I think she can be a little  more tough without being unfair , maybe level cap at 16? (thank you for the work you guys are doing to make rejuvenation one of the best pokemon games , story and balance wise )

    guys i need help i get another glitch or something it wont let me use my save files so here what it say this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way please contact the application's support team for more information Edit: forget to say all i did is update the game and this happend to me Edit: bruh i can't even play the game because of this glitch or whatever it is welp if this thing get fixed tell me

    Im playing on intense mode during the battle with big betty as Goomink. Your supposed to lose the first battle. But the second one (When Goomink evolves) I still can't win. Ive seen some videos and stratagies that say to use thousand arrows but for whatevr reason Goomink does not have thousand arrows in that battle. Is he supposed to? Or is this part of intense mode because if it is I have no idea how im supposed to win.

    I also just did this battle on intense and unfortunaly due to not having thousand arrows the battle becomes rng. Here's what you need to do to win: King's Shield on first turn, Swords Dance twice, King's Shield twice (here's the rng as the second one will fail most likely) and then spam sacred sword until you win. Also if Big Betty crits at any moment its over as well.

    when you say Paste it into game files do you mean just put it into the rejuvenation-v13 file or something else?

    just past it where you find the game you know like the game file you use to open it past it next to it

    Did you install it like this? I'm on version 13.0.4. so I'm wondering if you have 13.0.5. that maybe it isn't compatible possibly.

    I have previous v13 versions of Pokemon Rejuvenation and want to download this v13.0.5 update. Once I do so, should I still keep those previous versions once I get the new version or delete them once I have the new version downloaded? I don't want to break my game/s.

    Hi. I downloaded the new version 5.0.1 Mega download and I've extracted it. Now every time I open it up, the screen flickers a few times as soon as it loads up within Gearen Laboratory and then it stops flickering. Is this a normal occurrence? I will not delete my previous versions of v13 if not. Those previous versions are v13.0.2 and v13. Please advise. :( Should I attempt a re-extract of it?.

    yeah im using version 5 and its not working at all

    I think the only way to play it might be to play with v13.0.4. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. I haven't updated mine to 13.0.5. yet; but the pbs files can be downloaded in the original post on this thread if that is of any help. I everything works out & you find a way to play the game.

    I've been looking for a way to let this compiling stick. It does compile but once I close or restart the game, it just never saves

    Does anyone have the problem when loading up the game and all there is a black screen with the sound and i can press buttons to go through stuff but can't see? i play on a mac but im using bootcamp which lets me play windows on it any helpful suggestions are appreciated> :)

    Okay so I downloaded v13 from the download but when I try to extract the 13.0.5 patch into the folder it never actually does anything? It just stays stuck at 0.  I don't understand why?

     

    EDIT: actually better, how can I check what version I have?

    When you extract the patch file move the it the data section of the rejuv folder. Let me know if it does work for you.
