It's time. You all knew this was coming, and may very well be the first one here. Now, I WOULD play Pokemon Alpha Sapphire or Emerald, but I'm saving Emerald for later, and I'm still training up Cyndaquil in Alpha Sapphire. Plus, work and school had my hands tied. Not only that, but my hype limit has been broken, and I REEAALLY want to play the new game. I'm more of a night person, so I went with Pokemon Moon. Oh, and this is actually going to be the first time I will do a monotype run! As for which type, you will all have to wait and see! Now it's time to get my feet wet, and dive right in to3 points

Katsuo Gwaedu swung back and forth angrily. "I don't think I should translate that." Katsuo said worriedly. Gwaedu spun about and then spoke in a robotic monotone, "My Master is not my servant, shouting whore." Katsuo was unsurprised at the AI's rather forceful defense of him, but the fact that she actually bothered to speak that was more than a bit of a shock. "Uhhhm." Katsuo found himself grasping for something to say as damage control, "She, doesn't usually talk because, um, there's... There's a glitch, yes, there's a glitch in her speech program that makes her say strange things. Very2 points

As the group moved through the winding passage, it opened up a few times and then choked off once again, each change in size rather abrupt. The sounds of fighting ebbed and died off as they traveled, fading to silence as they came to another, wider opening in the passage. The group encountered another bizarre mixture of people(?), who appeared to be in a similar state to their own. Visrii, It that Embraces, Alexandria, Jesse, Venus, Eon, Kurosawa, and Halley are now in! They've just finished fending off an array of shadowy creatures; some similar to the Shadow Beasts the first had just fough2 points

A nod to both of them simultaneously, smirking that the dragon had indeed gotten the message. Though the metal person's offer peaked her curiosity- just what was a "Translation Program"? Could she eat it? Did it taste good? If it did, she most definitely wanted one at some point. She gave another nod at the robot, especially eager with nothing but her own assumption to guide her decision, though she did take the time to ask: "F...o...od? E...a...t?"1 point

She held onto the hand that pet her, mind trying to process the request as she studied the starfield as the cooing stopped, pensiveness taking over her expression. "A....A.....A.....a?" the syllables failed to come her, as the pain from her last attempt to vocalize again crept back to the foreground. Still she tried to press on, hoping her compliance might earn her more food whenever she got hungry in the future... "A...U......u.......R......" the veins of what little skin wasn't covered in chitin began to throb and visibly writhe with every forward push. Left with little choice, instin1 point

Eon "Yes indeed. It's even funnier when some of the larger things around tend to have their own unique hindrances that end up being their own undoing," Eon laughed, reminded of some of the other dragons who fell prey to their own arrogance. Far too often he saw one of his kind believe themselves to be completely invulnerable, only to end up caught in some stupid contraption, forced to do the bidding of some random civilization. Being aware of his surroundings once more, he noticed the spider lady moving closer to him, seemingly interested. "Ah yes, I suppose I never did ask for your name at1 point

Aurora, the pet spider She accepted the meat left floating before her without question, digging into it just as ravenously as the first batch, as she listened to the few beings beginning to gather round her talk. The purring turned into a coo once the rest of the raptor flesh was gone, finally looking content with the meal coupled with the attention from the white being. She'd never truly let anyone pet or otherwise cuddle her like some pet, but then again, the vast majority of others had seldom had the courage to even try... except for one. But that one was not here, and aurora knew naught w1 point

Eon "Meat eh? I'm sure I have some around here somewhere. Not much, but some," Eon muses as he opens a small rift and sticks a hand into it. After a bit of fidgeting, he finds a few slabs of raw meat in a container labeled "XX2:144528".Recognizing one of the labeling codes he uses for various items, Eon opens his book and flips through the pages until he finds the reference code. "Well, I have raptor meat it seems. One of the older civilizations I visited once had an entire market based around this stuff apparently. I never actually tried any, but hopefully this will do?" Eon Upon hearing the request made by It that Embraces, Eon decided to poke into his stock and see what he could find. Technically he only had what some civilizations gave him as currency in an attempt to...please him, but he really had little care for it. Regardless, he kept it in the hopes that someday it could be useful. Like now. "Well, I probably have something. Any particular type of food, or will anything work?"1 point

One could practically see the fond smile forming on the strange entity's face, that little crinkling of her many eyes as she stroked through the spider's hair and [shhhhh]ed her, soothing her growls back into those content purrs, working her supernatural peace into the young beast's mind and body like an impossibly adept masseuse. Even as her arms worked, however, some of her eyes turned to the rest of the party, and even as she led Aurora slowly forwards along the path, she called out to the others around her. A growl at the reprimand, subtle and short, like a child weakly trying to protest a parent's decree, or a dog trying to hold onto something it was intent on chewing on. But yet again, Aurora soon enough went back to docility. Fiiiiiiiiiiiine, the fools were probably too much work to kill and eat anyway, probably wouldn't even taste that well either. Most of them smelled a bit on the sour side, with a subtle hint of edge, anxiety, and bewilderment. She noted the lowering of height, but at that point she'd really stopped caring if she wasn't even going to have to snatch one of the fleshies.1 point

Though the spider tensed at being pulled even closer, soon enough her purring was again uninterrupted. She made no attempt to stop the being tracing her back, the patterns actually growing brighter and even beginning to swim about on her carapace, a fully animated spectacle showing the infinitely repeating birth and death of an entire galaxy. For perhaps the first, and only, time in a long while, the innate predatory nature that had for so long driven her forward with pragmatic and savagely brutal determination sat docile. Though she still had no idea where the entity came from nor why it was1 point

So, I know I haven't done much of a serious map or gameplay update, pertaining to my game as of late, but a lot of the new additions that I've added haven't been recording worthy, and sometimes I just haven't been in the mood for it. However, I did add in a few new things: Also, Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers, and for those over in Europe, well... Happy End of November I guess XD Gen 7 Battle Items have been programmed into the game. Alolan Ninetales and Mimikyu are the only Alolan Pokemon in the game, and they are only used by Dreyah Haven and Tara Bloom. Sorry guys, just because1 point

"Ah. Thank you very much," Alexandria inclines her head slightly. She then raises her hand to the simple painting, and geometric shapes spring forth, surrounding the paper in a glowing yellow frame. The paper is visible inside, but clearly covered by a thin, translucent pane. Once thus protected, she takes it gently, and places it over her back, where it hovers with no visible means of support. Venus A new stage, a new audience, a new composition. The artist now found himself in an avant-garde environment --- perhaps too busy, no, rather much too populous for his liking..... Oh, dear me. I love to perform, but I hate crowds. Regardless, the stage would have to do. He withdrew his notebook, and, for a rare moment of time, scribbled a few words on it, perhaps to record the first events of the day, but not without finalizing them with a brief, albeit stunning, sketch of a rose. The growl louder with every inch of ground the being covered. Before long it was easily great enough in magnitude that one would've had to be deaf not to notice it. The spider's eyes beginning to burn with the silver light of a thousand flickering stars and the starfield upon her back doing the same. But it was only as the arms began to encroach on her that she completely lost it, an ear splitting, purely inhuman screech resounding throughout the area even with the many bits of idle chit-chat going on, her spydric limbs thrashing and attempting to stab at the being like a storm of glossed, bla1 point

Alexandria notices that everyone else is reacting to something. She looks between them, up at It That Embraces' physical manifestation, and cocks a sculpted eyebrow as she connects the dots (and low-level, broad-spectrum emissions). "Oh. You're sapient and talking. Huh. Terribly sorry about this, but whatever mental arts you're using seems not to be working on me. Wouldn't be the first time, but that doesn't make it more convenient. If it needs aiming, shoot for where humans keep their livers. Otherwise, hmm. Unless you know a good blink code or sign language we might be out of luck."1 point

Katsuo Katsuo made a mental note not to anger the electronic lady. And then made it again, and again, and again. And then he made a note not to anger Alexandria. "Gwaedu, please girl, chill out." He pleaded, fearing she might rip off his ear lobe in her rage, "Don't worry about her, she's just another clueless buffoon for us to work with. We're used to that." Gwaedu stopped tugging but made a buzzing sound to indicate she was still unsatisfied. Izumi Kurosawa ~A Short While Ago~ Help. It seems like everyone needs help these days. Maybe even more than help, a hero - a knight in shining armor. "........." was the only response the spider gave to the thing. Though the subtle growl from earlier started back up as a subtle rolling in her throat. So much for trying to hide, obviously that did nothing so far. She couldn't really back up much more without exiting the area entirely, and well... though this entire situation was the most frustrating hunt she'd ever been on, she could tell from what she'd already seen that there probably wasn't much in the way of food here... aside from the strangers... which she couldn't fucking kill and consume any of because there were too damn many. Eon would note that the barren rock seems to be transitioning to some kind of ruins, with the bluish tone fading into crumbling grays and dark browns, as well as that broken clockwork becoming more frequent. Off in the distance, over the cliffs, one can see the tops of houses; it's hard to tell, but they don't appear to be in disrepair. Oh, and there's also that bright orange and yellow chest over there. The spider had to practically gag her own mouth to prevent from screeching in rage as yet more fucks emerged from the woodwork, and a good amount of them just as inedible as the skeleton and armored being from the looks of it. She already knew damn well numbers would complicate things greatly if she couldn't isolate the weakest links; loading up more only made the issue that much worse. "I am the Hellfire Knight," the cloaked figure answers, looking around a bit at the strange sights. Was that a dragon? And that. . . woman? over there. So many strange people. . . She'd meant to speak with Kagari a bit more; other than the obvious "having the same exact name as someone from a different world" bit, the part where she'd suddenly become an idol reminded her of a conversation she'd never had the opportunity to finish with another person from her home world.1 point

I get it, but "show don't tell". If your characters have doubts let it show in their unwillingness to just let Seth do Seth things. Hesitation, second guessing. Yes we can hear their thoughts but if you have their actions showing some concern it lets us know without having to hold our hands through the story.1 point

Wow I've already made six of these dumb things. Time flies when you throw clocks or something. ANyway I made a new topic since I thought five episodes was enough for one. That's roughly 100 pages of reading. Thanks to everyone whose been reading and thank you person who clicked on this cause I ingeniously put "champ in the making" in the title. For every few episodes I'll put a little here's what's happened just so new comers can enjoy the spark noted version of my story without all the pesky time investment. So far in the story. It's based on reborn. Justin almost died on the train. Got1 point

Justin and Luxcalibur leave and Justin's expression goes from calm to furious. Veins can be seen in the young man's head and neck and red rises in his face. More than anger is in his thoughts. It is fury and his feline partner looks concerned about Justin's mental state. Justin approaches the homeless man who attacked him earlier and grabs him by the shirt and slams him into a wall. The attack grazes the man's skin on his hands and the back of his head. He's already bleeding a little. JusTIN Listen to me as I will not repeat one word. And that my friends is episode 6. Is it perfect? Probably not but its what I got. Comment as you please as any criticism is good criticism and I love to compare thoughts and analysis. So final note just as I'm actually doing a hardcore run of Reborn with the team I have in the story. Being Blaze the Combusken, Luxcalibur the Luxray, Soldier the Scyther and Lucky the Togetic (spoilers). For reference so you guys can understand the power difference. If Combusken is roughly level 20 in game. Luxcalibur is around level 55. Yeah a bit of a gap which is why in story he's the hero. Finally that song1 point

Hello all. To build upon my writing I've decided to write a story based on my current playthrough of Reborn. Its a narrative following a fictional character interacting in place of the MC in the game. The events for the most part are the same with some being changed to better reflect the main character and his pokemon team. Any and all criticism is helpful and wanted. Please try not to just flame me since that does little in the way of improvement. Anyway here's a short intro so you know what you're getting into. Thanks, I'll try to fix the wording a little more. I feel you about the ladies of Reborn, only one I don't feel one way or another about is Victoria because I feel not enough was done with her. As for Fern, I hate to say but tread carefully. We all want Fern harmed in some way but I feel like it definitely needs to be earned otherwise its still senseless violence. We could go on forever so yeah. When you put up your story I'll have to check it out.1 point

Alright, as a writer I strive for the level of detail when it comes to the scene that you painted here. From the rotten boards being crashed into by this rock faced monster down to the rusted weapon your girl bashed its face with. Its so much nicer to read than "she hit it good with a pole". I'd like to see this adventure into the ruins that you've started here. Sorry I've not much to offer but this was pretty good so I don't have much besides keep writing.1 point
