Battle Animation Issues

My question has nothing to do with the animations of the pokemon sprites, since I know they were removed entirely in the new version. My problem is with attack animations. I dunno what's the issue with my game here.

The majority of attacks for some reason have no animation taking place, and those that do very oddly enough has the attack taking place completely outside the game window instead of affecting the pokemon sprite it's supposed to hit. Other moves work fine as they should. Here's some examples;

Water Gun works normally as it should, as does Absorb, Scratch, Cut, and a number of others.

Shadow Ball, Explosion, Sandstorm, Light Screen/Reflect, Scary Face seem to be having their animations isolated in the upper left corner.

most of everything else appears to have no animation at all.

This has happened on every version of the game I've played from episode 11 till now. Is there something I have to enable to fix the animations? Because I checked the animations file and there appears to be animations that should be taking place but I'm not seeing them at all.

Most of the animations haven't been made in the first place. The ones that exist were made by people on Pokecommunity for releases of Pokemon Essentials, but PE hasn't updated in quite a while. Further, when they were implemented in PE the creator of it misplaced many of them, resulting in the issue you see with them being in the top left.

Not that it's impossible to fix, but I had presumed PE would have another update that would include more animations and correct the existing ones. And although it's been a while since the last one, that's still possible. We're putting our effort into finishing our game and after that time, if it looks like PE isn't going to update then we can take care of this ourselves.

BTW I shoulda said this before but I really love the visuals for the moves, Explosion is especially amazing in particular. You guys have done amazing work on these animations. It makes me eager to see how things go in the future, especially for some moves that look like they could use a more realistic look such as water gun and some others, regardless of how rough it gets in the development in this game I have to say you guys do a lot of great work.
