Okay so, I'm not 100% sure if it's a bug or if it's just my file, but I'm sure I downloaded the full thing. Anyway, when I start trainer battles, a small window pops up and the game pauses until I click back on it, or I close the window. But when I get into battle, there is no battle music. Is that an error on my part? am I missing some files?

and another thing, when I first played, and walked over from route 3 to route 4, my game crashed. It got some error about RGSS or something has crashed, then it closes the game. When I open, I reload from my save file... it happened for a while, but idk what made it stop. But now, while I'm in Celcenon (forgive my spelling if it's wrong) and I travel over to route 4, the RGSS error happens again and my game crashes. I'm going to redownload the game and see if I get the same error again

I haven't heard of this error before. Currently, a redownload sounds like your best bet.
Are you playing this on Windows or Mac? It looks like Windows, but it's good to know for certain.

I'm playing on Windows and I'm downloading as we speak. For some reason, the net's been pretty slow for the past couple of days, so it may take a while

I see. If a redownload doesn't work, post your save file. From there, we can determine if you lack files or if the file itself is botched.

And actually, that came up with the RGSS crash but a similar, smaller window opens up when I start trainer battles... I'd have to wait and see if I can go to Opal Ward for a trainer battle cause I'm fresh out, but the window pops up as soon as the battle is supposed to start, then closes as soon as it finishes, unless I close it myself. Like... an error or something telling me I don't have this battle music

Alright so after I tried the RGSS fix and restarted my computer, it still comes up with the same error when I exit back onto Route 4 from the pathway so idk if it's a problem on my end, but I did try redownloading

Edit: I finished the battle and the theme for 'after' the battle plays, then the overworld music plays

What's the title of that window, is there anyway you can tell? It looks like it starts with an A- maybe try opening Task Manager to see what that window is called?

Also of note: Does this happen in Reborn City as well? Trainers inside the city use a different battle music.

I'd have to find another trainer that came out with episode 13 to find out, but I traveled back to Opal Ward and the battle music with trainers works just fine

From that, I'd say you're probably either missing the second trainer battle music or it's been corrupted somehow.

Go to the Audio\BGM folder in your Reborn directory and see if you have both "Battle- Trainer" and "Battle- Trainer2" in there. If you're missing either, redo the update to episode 13. If they're both there, the best I could guess is that one is corrupted somehow, in which you should still redo the update.

Whichever it is, if reapplying episode 13 still doesn't work, I don't think I know what to do from there.

I checked and both files are there, I opened them and both of them are playing... I already did try redownloading episode 13, making sure it fully downloaded, and checked if it was still happening and it was. I don't know what to do now cause when I opened them from within the folder, they both played

I'll try replacing the file for 14. Some shennanigans happened as a whole with the music files so maybe this one was damaged in translation. If it still happens after that, make another thread or revive this one for me, and sorry for the issue in the meantime.
