[A][B]Broke Episode 13.

I had responded on a bug post with a person that had the same problem as me.

I did't go talk to them after journal event. I then passed Calcenon city and went through the broken bridge and got text like someone was there but there was no one there. When I went to fight Aster and Eclipse I had to do it myself.

"The same exact thing happned to me except after not being able to beat aster and Eclipse I went back and went to Calcenon city. From there I went through the snowy area back to Aster and Eclipse. However they were no longer there. The double battle grunts where on the way back though. I had been reading there were fixes after September 8th but I downloaded and played on the 9th. I am in Calcenon City and I am not sure what to do next. I am unable to surf anywhere becuase Aya is follwing me. I was told to talk to Charlette to get the badge for dive but I cannot find her.

However I don't seem to be getting a response. I downloaded the updated version and this is stil not fixed. I am unable to battle Charolette ( the gentleman is still blocking the way) I can't go back through the mountain since Aya is with me. Aster and Eclipse are gone. So I am just not sure what to do. I will attatch my game file. Sorry for posting about this again. I went here hoping I could get some help.

Just wondering if I could get some help. I've looked all over trying to fix this. I've downloaded the new patch twice to see if that would fix it. I would like to continue playing this game and I don't know what else to do so any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, double post talk... But usually when a person needs help and no one answered yet, I don't mind. But then again, that's just me.

As for the savefile @Stryx, i tried to look at it, restart episode 13 variables, try to trigger new events, turn on/off some of the switches, and i couldn't do anything about it. It's the reason why i requested Ame/Dan's assistance in this. Well, i don't know if they saw this topic or not, but well...

What i can say is that, from my point of view, you've broken a lot of stuff in episode 13. You might not have a choice but to restart the game.

But i did say "might". I don't know if other people looked into your save or not, and if they can help or not.

Give this a try. There's going to be some inconsistencies, but I think you can get through the episode. For instance trainers you faced before haven't been reset (but you still have your levels, so, meh).

For future reference to people who have RMXP and help with save files, in order to reset 13 from this bug open the save file, remove Aya if she's still following (there's a hidden tile near the calcenon gym available through debug only to do it), set all the recent switches to off and make sure E13 variable is 0. Then just warp to a E12 map. I think that does it.

My only problem with fixing that save, is that i couldn't reset two events

1 - The Calcenon house event (Where Anna, Cain & company are)

2 - The Saphira event after Laura leaves the gym

But oh well... you did it.

Thank you very much!!!! Works much better and I won't mess it up now lol. I apologise for the double post, but I did wait a significant amount of time and no one answerd. I didn't want to make a whole new forum post on it so I figured this was the best option. I did not think about editing to original post but I will do so next time.

Yeah, I had managed to miss it, so.

It's possible I missed something like those events, so if they don't work with Calcenon post again and I'll see if I can get them too. Might've been an oversight if they aren't covered by typical variables.
