Alaris 85
Hi! I just started playing ep.13 right now and I noticed that when the music starts playing or there's some kind of abrupt transition (like in the beginning of a combat or biking) a *bip* sound can be heard. EDIT: now it's just one thing because I transferred the other to typos and tiles errors. And I don't know how to remove the attached file ^^U
Arkhi 199
This can belong in the "Typos and Tile Errors" thread.
Alaris 85
Ok, I'll put that there, thanks! But I'll leave the sound thingie. It's a little annoying...
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted September 6, 2014 Administrators Share Posted September 6, 2014 What OS are you on? I've observed lag when changing music, but not this bip thing, which is concerning.
Alaris 85
Windows 7 (PS: Thanks for changing the title, whoever it was!)
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted September 6, 2014 Administrators Share Posted September 6, 2014 So it's not OS related. Can anyone else confirm this issue?
trundle7 0
I play Reborn on Windows 8 and I didn't have that problem. Everything went fine
Arkhi 199
I can't hear any such bip. I tried keeping the jukebox to a single song as well, so it seems to be a transitional error for you solely.
ReddestDream 0
No *bip* sound during transitions on Wine 1.7.25 for Mac simulating Window XP . . .
Alaris 85
Ugh... am I really the only one? In episodes 9, 11 a 12 the sound is fine, but then during this whole episode 13 there's the annoying *bip* sound TT_TT
Sqipperr 0
I have the same issue, sound bips on transitions. But only on my laptop. On my PC the transitions are normal.
Cornerman 0
Perhaps it's just a laptop thing because I think I had it once but just like one or two times I also play with sound off some times so i wouldnt get to experience it as well that much I love the music but i want to hear mah youtube
ArthurZH 2
On the topic of sound problems, the sound for biking constantly alternates in the game. Like if I start out at Peridot and move to Opal, the bike music would be 'off'......for just a few parts, then when you enter another part of the ward, the bike music comes on. A bit annoying, but thought it should be mentioned. Not a major issue though..... ......and Opal Ward/Peridot was just an example, can't remember details coz exams are cramping me cranky levels high

I'd go around reborn with the bike to try and figure out where all of the different locations at which this occurs are, but I don't have time at the moment.

Torasu 0
I have exactly the same issue, Win7 64bit. Also noted that the volume of SFX has increased, while the volume of BGMs has decreased, without fiddling with any files whatsoever. EDIT: The problem persists even in 13.2 .
