[Resolved] Sprite glitch?

Recommended Posts

Okay I'm new here so before you tell me "there's already a topic for this blaaah" or "this isn't where this belongs" I'm already going to apologize. I'M SORRY I'M NEW HERE. Anyway, this isn't a huge issue, it just sorta bothers me. Look at the picture, LOOK AT IT. No photoshop, no nothing just a.. glitch?

Can't exactly change sprites because IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ME (I mean techincally, I can change but it doesn't make a difference). I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF I'M PLAYING AS THE GIRL OR BOY ANYMORE lol

Did you talk to someone in the Grand Hall?

Is this an Episode 11 screenshot?

If yes, that's an NPC to change your character's look pre-E12 release.

If no, it might just be some kind of glitchy sprite that can't really do much harm.

Guess I gotta clear up some things, I started the game with the darker skinned girl. I learned that you could switch to the "boy version" of your character so when I went to try it, what I saw was the same dark skinned girl. Probably just a weird glitch and like I said, it's not a big issue. Thought I'd just point it out. :D

Alright, I'm reading over this and am confused by what the actual "glitch" is. At a glance, I don't see anything that's even wrong.

The NPC in the Grand Hall is a darker-skinned variant of the light-skinned protagonist and was there to allow players who chose the lighter-skinned protagonist to switch to the darker-skinned variant without needing to restart the game.

If you started the game with the darker-skinned protagonist, talking to this NPC won't change anything for you visually and it certainly won't change your gender or change you to the lighter-skinned protagonist. Unless I'm somehow mistaken, I think while you were expecting to see something change, nothing changed (which is intended behavior) and you thought it was a "glitch." If this is not the case, feel free to PM me on the forums and I'll see what I can do, but otherwise I think I can safely close this thread.

While I'm at it, welcome to Reborn!
Why don't you head on over to the Grand Hall portion of the forums and write yourself an intro thread?
