[A] Freezing mid Chat

So i had to restart my game due to corrupted data, then episode 12 came out so I played but when i got to the pokedex receiving part my chat just froze but i could save there was no chat box or nothing. I then Pressed the D Key to save and exited the game then re-entered the game, i could then press shift to open my menu to move around but i couldnt talk to anyone.

so i restarted again and chose my starter but the same thing happened but only got up to where you meet cain. I tried doing the shift thing to move around but this time it didnt work. I chose Chespin both times I dont know if chespin is the problem and i have to chose another starter or if its something else

Can you tell me what type of computer you use?

..Have you tried restarting a file with a different starter and seeing what happens afterwards?

my pc is an HP Dont know the exact type but it used to work on this pc fine untill now

I did what you said to pick a different starter and it worked up to cain but idk up to pokedex part due to my game crashing but i want to know why is chespin now glitched i used it before and it worked fine but now its not

Try to redownload reborn. But use a different mirror this time (If you downloaded Reborn through GameFront, then use Mega for example).

Dont need to anymore i think its a glitch with chespin because this time i chose torchic and everything was fine
