[B] Pokeballs don't work?

Whenever I throw a pokeball, of any kind, nothing happens. I was on Route 2, trying to catch a Rufflet, and it was raining. I would throw a ball, and the immediate dialogue was "Rain continues to fall." The Rufflet also didn't even make a move, as if me throwing invisible balls made it skip its turn.

Also, my ball quantity decreased, so the balls went somewhere. But not towards the Rufflet, obviously. o 3o

btw, i tried to reproduce the error, but i couldn't. It's working perfectly fine for me.

For now, i'm going to suggest that you redownload the game. But also:

Have you tried to throw pokeballs at other pokes, in other places? It only happens in Route 2, or what? :I

I tried catching a Litwick earlier and the same thing happened. But then, I had just thought I hadn't met some special condition required to catch it. Then it happened again and yeah. :\

I'll try redownloading though, thanks...Didn't really think of that haha OTL

i checked it out near randomus' place.. and using episode 12.. its still not working.. its weird...

Confirmed. Whatever it is is save-file specifc, but it wasn't the switch issue I expected.

It'll be pretty easy to figure out which script section this is, I think, but it obviously works for most people. I'm going to pass this on to see if Blind can figure out what's wrong.
