I made a bet with him and lost... and this is where it gets weird.. I thought HP is base 60.. and i didnt know fairy type HP exists.. Whats going on??? Link to post Share on other sites
Sheep 27 Posted June 5, 2014 Share Posted June 5, 2014 Hdden power fairy is exclusive to reborn and hidden power's power used to be variable. It's only been fixed to 60 in gen 6. A few things haven't been fully implemented from gen 6 yet (breeding mechanics) but I'm not sure if this is one of them. It could be that the power is actually 60 but the man is still programmed to tell you what it would have been based off your pokemon's IVs in gen 5. Or it could be that the change to a flat base power of 60 hasn't been added yet and you get to have fun with a 70 base power hidden power. As far as I can see unless someone who knows more than I do comes along to provide a more comprehensive answer the only way to know is to go out and test it relative to other stuff. I also didn't know Fairy HP existed in Reborn. Guess i didn't read a post by Ame or something. At any rate, i'll leave this so Ame can see it and give a better explanation... or something. But it is base 60.. says so in the description... so now can somebody tell us how to get the type we want?? It should change to "Fairy" based on Bulbapedia though. But like Sheep said, Fairy HP doesn't exist. So maybe that's why it's changing to normal. HP shouldn't be normal though.
