Phlytosion 0
I'm not sure if this has been noted as a problem (if it has someone can just lock this topic), but there seems to be a problem using healing items during battle. My first Pokemon in my party was fainted before I started a battle (regardless if its with a Pokemon or a trainer). I went to go and use a Potion on another one of my Pokemon and accidentally used it on the fainted Pokemon since it defaults to the first member of your party. It immediately sent me back to the battle screen and showed me using the Potion on the fainted Pokemon (with no effect occurring of course). The game then proceeded to skip my attack. I'm not sure if this is how the Pokemon games are supposed to be or if it is something that can be fixed. I always figured it would immediately say "It had no effect" and would ultimately stop you from using a Potion on a fainted Pokemon. Any help would be great!
Yash 4
Ya the same thing happened to me when using a parylz heal on a normal poke by mistake.. Don't think its there anywhere else.. EDIT: It happens with enhancement items like xattack n all.. happened with ether as well.. That has been noted already...
Phlytosion 0
I knew that the X items weren't working as well. I've never used X items anyways other than making money off of them by selling them. And I figured that it was the same for all healing type items, not just Potions, except Revive and Max Revive, but yeah....
DashingStorm 3
It's supposed to say "It had no effect." and stay at the Pokémon select screen on whom you would want to use the item..
Yash 4
it doesnt do that.. it goes to the battle screen and says that it had no effect.. and then the opponent attacks.. EDIT: 100 posts...
Lost Lore 12
Actually, this is normal, as of Gen V. It can really screw you over if you try to heal the wrong Pokemon, so I have no idea why GF changed it... Just gotta be extra careful.

I definitely had a hunch it was like that, just didn't feel like testing it. Luckily it's not that huge of a deal. I just need to avoid spamming my keyboard repeatedly.
