GreenM55 0
Hi there I found this game through someone who was posted vids of it and wanted to play it for myself, however when I downloaded it and tried to start the game file (game.exe) It tells me that I don't have a program that can open it. The game looks really good and I'd really like to get started on it. Please Help.
Veterans Azeria 390 Posted May 5, 2014 Veterans Share Posted May 5, 2014 I think you have to have a Wine emulator i am not sure look it up there probably is already a thread about it or pm Vinny or Tempest
Vinny 27
Wine is the only way to play Reborn on a Mac iirc. Also, after you get Wine, there's some stuff you have to do. Look here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/rebornfaq.html#wine

Look here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/rebornfaq.html#wine Ok I downloaded Wine and followed the instructions on the link in your comment, but now when I try to run the game I get a window with a load of code and a line at the top that says "This program cannot be run in DOS mode
Vinny 27
I don't have a Mac, so i can't really help you on that. I do know that the reason for that message is because you're trying to run a "windows only" program in a Mac. You should google your problem, it's effective ^^ You can also try to look around this forum: http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/running-windows-anything-else-your-mac/260456-programs-dont-run.html Sorry mate, but i can't really help you there. Tacos 205
You would think i would know considering I've been through every problem a mac user could possibly have with reborn but actually, i believe the forum on how to install wine here is somewhat incorrect. Instead, look it up on google and look for a video. It should be both linked and give a detailed tutorial. From there you should be able to run it perfectly fine after deleting a few audio files. Vinny 27
Google is always the way the go. I guess that only describes a similar problem, but offers no solution. Yeah, it's better if you simply google it and try to find something.
GreenM55 0
Hey Guys I know it's been a while since I last posted, between my Mac and the site being down things have been really slow for me getting reborn going, but I did manage to solve my problems and am happy to say I am up and running!
