[Resolved] failed to initiate directx audio

I keep getting an error when i load the game that says "Failed to initiate DirectX audio" and then it closes the game. Any fix? Do i have to re-download?

Your sound card is probably outdated or corrupted/jacked up somehow.
Go download the latest driver if it is outdated. If not:
Try restarting or rebooting it and see if it works
