Developers Inuki 54 Posted October 12, 2011 Developers Share Posted October 12, 2011 [QQQQQ Delibird] Delibird (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Vital Spirit EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Gunk Shot - Fake Out - Seed Bomb - Ice Shard Why does Gamefreak hate all the non-legendary birds that don't evolve? Seriously. When they give you a dream world ability that has the exact same effect that one of your regular abilities has, something's just not right. Now lets keep him having terrible stats, no special moves outside ice moves to make his slightly higher special attack usable, and oh wait, lets throw in rapid spin and seed bomb. Gamefreak needs to lay off the drugs. This set doesn't even really have a purpose. Just attack until you die. Ice Shard Priority is cool, I suppose, but 229 attack isn't gonna let you do much with it. So is the fate of Delibird.
Shanco 16
POWER SLAM! Delibird (F) @ Power Herb Trait: Hustle EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - [s]Power Slam[/s] Sky Attack - Ice Shard - Focus Punch - Rapid Spin Delibird...is Delibird. This Pokemon's so screwed into the ground that there's no hope for it to leave NU anytime soon. But it is the only Flying-type with Rapid Spin, so at least it's got that going for it. Sky Attack is scary shit when combined with Hustle. Focus Punch can troll Steel-type switch-ins to the extreme when someone is actually taking you seriously for having a Delibird. Ice Shard is priority, plain and simple. Rapid Spin will not save Delibird if it's been chunked by Stealth Rock, but it doesn't take damage from Spikes and what not so that's useful. I should probably stop trying to make this Pokemon useful in the slightest, but hey, in the right team, it can do something. I dunno what it'd do though.
