Route 1 bug (stuck forever)

after beating Fren, i cannot proceed to the right towards the psychic gym, due to some weird tall bush/ fallen tree combo where i had no problem with in a previous version in ep11, which, sadly, i have deleted

so i went left to get the itemfinder, and jumped down the ledges, only to find the gate locked (as shown in pic)

as i remembered from previous patches, i cannot go back up the ledges unless im riding tauros

anyway i tried, and got as far as i could (as shown in pic)

so basicly im stuck there and cannot get out

is there anyway i can get back out other than letting all my pokemon faint ?

Normally with the high grass ledges, if you can't pass them, there's normally a log nearby that you have to bash out of the way. Normally you'll find a bouffalant near there. Just beat the tauros, have the bouffalant knock the log out of the way, and viola, no more stick stuck smack dab in dem muddy parts. (: hope this addresses the issue that you're having.

NB. that gate issue you're having? It's fine, you have to go through the Radomus storyline first before that unlocks. So no need to worry if you are doing so~

seems like i never got what buffolant does, that makes a lot of sense

the first time i saw this tauro buffolant thing, i fought tauros just cuz i wanted to catch it

so that was the only buffolant that is completely necessary to use in order to proceed

and i just caught a shiny tauros

Here's a tip for Route 1 though: ALWAYS KILL THE TAUROS FIRST, unless you need one to clear a ledge...

Actually, there will be one or two more, so don't forget this tip: go left and right on every ledge to scout for a log, hmm? (:

i just didnt have time to explore the forest even with my previous save yet

so that's why i cannot ge oddish weed

As for the Oddish weed, you'll see where it is the minute you get to the area where it is- it's almost painfully obvious once you see where it MIGHT be. xD
