Mortally Divine 5 Posted March 9, 2014 Share Posted March 9, 2014 During the Gym Battle against Luna, the Dark Type gym leader, her Malamar uses the move Superpower. I noticed that as Malamar was using superpower, its attack and defense would raise each use. This (of course) makes it incredibly hard to kill, as it can effectively get stronger while dealing tons of damage. I thought that superpower LOWERED attack and defense on use, but I wasn't sure, so I looked it up, and sure enough: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Superpower_(move) " Superpower inflicts damage and then lowers the user's Attack stat and Defense stat by one stat level each." Hopefully this can be fixed soon, and hopefully I can manage to beat Luna (I still haven't managed to beat her, superpower keeps killing Scrafty ( my sweeper). Link to post Share on other sites
