Episode 11 Abilities Reset

When I load my save in Episode 11, a lot of my pokemon's abilities were altered

I thought it would only affect party pokemon, so i restarted using episode 10, and the abilities were back to normal, i then put my party into the PC, saved, then loaded with episode 11 again

turns out that this affects pokemon in the PC as well

The following is a lost of the changes i noticed:

In party

Gardevoir: Trace ---> Telepathy

Swampert: Damp ---> Torrent

Gyarados: Moxie ---> Intimidate

In PC

Growlithe: Intimidate ---> Justified

Magmar: Vital Spirit ---> Flame Body

Azurill: Huge Power ---> Thick Fat

These resets should be random, since the first time i loaded, Gardevior's ability was changed from Trace to Synchronize instead of Telepathy on the second time.

Is this happening to anyone as well ???

Thanks for your attention

Quoting myself: "I remember someone saying this: The way your abilities were (e.g. Azurill with Huge Power) in episode 10, was wrong... In another words, your Azurill was supposed to have Thick Fat since the start, but only now the game is reading the ability in a "correct way"..."

EDIT: I got that Prankster Tempest ^^

A bug was fixed. Those are your Pokemon's actual abilities. Episode 10 was breaking them. You can find the ability capsule in episode 11, so you change them to what you like. Sorry 'bout that.

Stahp Vinny!

i am a little confused, is the ability adjustment only for pokemon with 3 abilities ?

cuz gyarados only has 2 abilities and it has been changed to intimidate

i don't really have a problem with it though, since dd moxie just makes it way too easy, and i have not been using gyarados that much

just asking to make sure

No... The adjustment is for pokemons that have hidden abilities... Basically, everything...

So basically all of my pokemon abilities were incorrect...and here comes the 20,000 questions.

1. How much does the ability capsule cost?

2. where is it? (cause I can't battle too much with my team in ruins)

3. Should I start a new game and get a new team? Cause as I said my team is in ruin because of the update...

Might have some more questions later...

1 - Shards... I don't know how much, because everytime you buy one, the value changes...

2 - 7th street... The first vendor you see, IF you sided with Magma...

3 - I don't think you should... If you defeated Radomus already, you gone pretty far

Tip: Make a backup of your original save, and start a new game... If restarting doesnt look like a problem, then restart... If everything looks tedious, because you already did all that, then don't restart...

Thanks and luckily I believe I did side with the Magma.

and I know I'm pretty far in but I don't know what to do...

I always make a back up before starting a new chapter so I'm fine.

To be honest, don't restart... I mean, ability capsule and the psychologist in 7th street can put your team back to it's place, and even "fix" pokemons that you're not using...

It's better to just go look for a lot of shards and heart scales, than restarting the game...

Well I managed to get 3 AC but messed up so technically only 2 in a way now that I think about it...still need quite a few let's see...

Lilligant, Gardevoir, Gyarados, Scrafty, and a number of others...

Did you got the item finder? If you didn't, go back to Route 1, the nature preserve place, and talk with everyone...

And if you have an itemfinder already, go on a "tour" around Reborn, using the itemfinder everywhere...

Cuz the amount of hidden items, is too damn high! Just caution with random paralyze heals that can crash your game...

land mines were necessary to provide a risk for players who got too heavy into item searching.

...or something like that...

Thanks for telling me, I just finished getting it.

Warning taken, watch the very first item I find is going to end up being a "Landmine"

i cannot change intimidate to moxie on gyarados, i tried it 4 times, and it just remained intimidate

i can change magnemite's ability from sturdy to magnet pull though, but never analytic

so is it at all possible to change a pokemon's ability to the dreamworld ability using ability capsule ???

i have personally failed to do so

also the psychologist in 7th street does not change my pokemon's nature as well, my magnemite's nature remained sassy after around 7 tries

I'm going to say: Ame made some changes in episode 11.2, so maybe you didn't download 11.2 you downloaded 11... Can you tell me when did you download it?

Also, my Porygon's ability change from Trace to Analytic (When i was trying to get Download) so the abilities can change... But it's a chance, i think you're just out of luck...

Last but not least, there was a bug with the psychologist where he said that he was going to change your last pokemon's nature, but changed the nature of the first one...

I suggest you redownload the game and try again... If these things persist, then - AMETHYST?!
