Dig and Aerial Ace

Don't know if this was new, but I just found out that dig doesn't cause the opponent's sprite to disappear, but aerial ace does, at least in the case of the opponent.

EDIT: I'm not sure if this is related, but it gets weirder.

This time, after aerial ace was used, my Onyx attacked with smack down, but nothing happened, without even a message saying that the attack had missed. I don't think that this happened the first time, though I might have just been focused on the fact that the sprite disappeared. The bug has reccured. Afterwards, the opponent used defog, and somehow my Onyx's sprite moved. After defog was reused, my Onyx eventually moved off screen. Switching pokemon, however, brings the sprite back in it's normal position.

There's some weirdness with animations in general. During all of this, were the actual effects of the moves at least working properly?

...It seems not. Smack Down again. I swear, every script update, Smack Down breaks in another way.

It's not Smack Down to my knowledge. It's Aerial Ace. While doing my new playthrough, I got into a battle with a Spearow with Aerial Ace. It spammed the move over and over, hitting me normally, which made both sprites vanish. Then, when I had Ralts use Confusion, it simply "flickered" the sprites and did no damage. When Spearow did Aerial Ace again, it made them re-appear, did the sound and damage, and then they both vanished again.

Anyway, (haven't tested Smack Down) it's Aerial Ace that's bugged, since the bug repeated no matter what Pokemon or move I used, even after a reload. Not to mention I was able to reproduce the bug each time. Took me three tries before insta-killing the Spearow to avoid it.
