That's not a glitch- that's your Onix earning enough EVs to get more HP.

I suppose that that makes sense if intended, but I don't think that EVs are usually gained outside of level ups.

Anyway, I also found out that you can get infinite Spritzees from Sweet Scent as long as you keep doing the puzzle, which I'm almost uncertain was unintended.

My english isn't that good, so sorry if I my message wasn't well written.

What I tried to say is that the EV's ARE gained when the foe's pokémon is knock out, but to see the actual change in the tat the pokémon need to level up or be deposited in the box. Maybe this was changed in XY, I don't know, but this is how it was working since Ruby & Sapphire.

No, no, I understood what you were saying. I was just saying that I don't know if any of the original games had pokemon see the effects of gaining EVs without leveling up.

Also, another glitch: while hitting return in the box while holding a pokemon tells you that you can't leave due holding a pokemon, hitting "cancel" in the menu lets you leave, and getting rid of the pokemon you were holding.

EDIT: I know that it was mentioned earlier that sand attack didn't work on flying types, and on that topic, it seems like confuse ray doesn't work on normal types either.

Super. Can anyone think of other incidents where this might occur?

I'm not entirely sure if this has been posted already, but Binacle's "Tough Claws" is misspelled "Though Claws" on Reborn.

Xwind- So I'm a bit confused. Did you already change stuff, and if so what exactly did you change?

Arcana- Were you using the new female or the old one?

Just change some English dialogues into Chinese.

Fixed it. That probably won't be the only one, so keep that in mind

@ Xwind- I can't say for sure. How did you translate it, by opening it in RMXP itself? It might be best to wait until the game is complete for translation otherwise it'll have to be redone with every episode.

pew pew, my turn to send in the bugs. My newest find was that at the very start of EP10 content, you get the jewelry, then head out of the cave. Once in the tall grass you see something make a run for the offscreen. Three times now in the 10.5 version the game has frozen as whatever pokemon that is is 2/3 off the screen. just loaded up old 10.0 ep and it works fine an pokemon runs off.

Next just to reiterate I'm getting the double status changes in battle. seems to be only negative stat changes, where Leer will make Def drop twice, saying the "defense has fallen" msg twice, and not the "has fallen sharply" msg. I saw others trying to report this with some confusion

And I also am seeing a lot of battle animations for my teams side, appear in the upper left corner of the game, as well as any weather effects show "glitched" looking graphics in that area.

As far as I'm aware, the animations in the corner is quite often, since it's been fairly often reported. It's most likely been explained, but the double status change isn't only negative. Charge beam (I believe another topic) is a key example, where it raises it twice. Not to mention Defiant on Piplup triggers twice in the event of the double stat drop (which means it's most definitely not just stat drops that trigger twice).

Anyway, the double stat effect bug is a bit troubling, and in ways a bit more inconveniencing than the HP glitches from before and after the fix. Mainly because you have Julia's team where every Pokemon has Charge Beam and can end up hard sweeping without much effort (if you're not prepared, anyway).

Not sure if it was already addressed, but the rooftop garden doesn't seem accessible? Each time, at the top of the elevator, it'd fade to black and then simply return with my character still at the door, rather than outside. Didn't break the game since I was able to leave and keep on my merry way, but it does stop me from accessing the roof. why not elevator work :( ?

I hate to be a bother, but I have a problem myself D: I've updated the game so I now have the 10.5 update, but when I go to play my game, this pops up:

Also, my character is a boy not a girl; oh and it comes up as ep 11 on the title screen - dunno if that's intentional >.>

Arcana- Were you using the new female or the old one?

I was using the old one. I think it happened when I entered a battle against a Bouffalant in Route 1, where it showed the old male character instead of the female one throwing the ball. Plus, the game still lets me switch to the female new character even though I'm a male now.

There's a fix for the HP glitch in the the thread about it. On the last page, Amethyst put up a script file to replace the old one. Should fix the flickering HP. Haven't had bugs since putting in the new script.
