hey um i dont know if its a glitch or if my games messed up but, when ever i try to catch wild pokemon, they end up hitting the ball back. is there a fix for this or do i have to start over

Hello, it's me again. Yes, the gal turned into boy through the power magic and glitches.

I recently downloaded the updated version of 10.5 (which is 10.6 I believe) thinking it might fix my issue but that didn't happen, so I'm back here, considering plastic surgery or some sort of bug fix. Any clue?

Whenever it is fixed, you'll probably need to mount a tauros and dismount again to reset the sprite. However, my assumption is that the switch that tells the game whether your character is male or female is still properly set to say female- just I messed up in the conditionals of the tauros event somewhere.

There's actually a way to confirm this for me pretty quickly- head to the Grand Hall and check the top left corner, where one would go to switch to a new style protagonist. If you see the new girl protagonist up in that corner, then the switch is properly set. If you see the new boy instead, then something is very wrong somewhere, and I might ask you for your save file.

With Heracross and Pinsir, this is expected. Does it happen when trying to catch wild Pokemon other than those?

If so: Can you recall when this started happening? There are some sidequest and story events that use that same switch-- specifically anything where you fight a Pokemon-trainer (such as the Scrafty Gang). I turn it on before those battles and off afterwards but it's possible I missed it on one of them, or one of the hera/pinsir events.

Now that you mentioned Heracross and Pinsir, i'm going to ask: In the obtainable list, both are marked as *Limited Event*. But, is there a way to catch at least one of them now, or you didn't added a way to get them as of 10.5? (I'm just assuming that, since the square isn't all black, there is a way to get the pokemon in the game. At least, that's what i think...)

its any pokemon i try to catch and its happing in the jungle when fighting tangla and in shades gym fighting duskul and i havent encounterd Heracross or Pinsir yet what im doing right now is trying to battle shade to get him to turn the power back on. and on a side note the move water shuriken doesnt work. Oh wait i did encounter the pokemon Dons like a few minuest before this happend when i tryed to rescure the scaggys from the panda looking pokemon

I downloaded 10.5 yesterday cause I got real excited about the black protagonist sprites because the ability to resemble my own race in a Pokemon game is one of the greatest things to ever happen to me. (I lead an exciting life.)

Anyway it was working great and is super cool, but I loaded it up a couple times today and I no longer have a sprite. I am invisible.

Except on my trainer card. On my trainer card I am a little boy in an inner tube. Which had me laughing loudly for about 6 minutes.

From what I can tell everything else is working just fine. The sprite in the left corner of the hall that lets you change your appearance is gone so, idk. Maybe I just downloaded it wrong or something and no one else has had this issue. That's possible. I AM an idiot after all.

But yeah. This game is amazing. I've been having way too much fun with it. Can't wait for 11.

Um, so here's the funny thing. Looking in the graphics, I'm not sure that a Tuber Boy sprite even exists still. Are you sure you got the full download of 10.5? It sounds like you might have some of the game files from an older version crossed over with the new one

It's because you are playing on the older ep10 version (where there are no new sprites)

Wow. Well. I'm not sure how I managed to do that. XD

I'll go back and see if I can figure out what I did. In the meantime you should probably consider adding tuber boy as a protagonist option because I for one would be ecstatic.

Hello I'm new here i just downloaded this version never played it before and i cant even get it to start a new game because its as if someone is holding down my down arrow key so im not even able to move it from options. I have deleted it and redownloaded it but still cannot get this fixed. Also before i get to the screen it says not all of the fonts are in the fonts folder i opened it up and it shows several different font files are in it.

Yes i noticed there was a post that was seperate from this after i did some searching and i saw that so i scanned with Mcafee and Spysweeper and nothing was found went and tried it again it still does it :/

EDIT: Alright well i dont know why but i restarted my comp and it works O.o probably should've done that first but whatever it works ^.^ anyways thank you guys for trying to help and ill be back if i find anything that stops me from playing again also did i post this in the right place :3 or was i supposed to make a new thread?

Although technically this thread should only be for bugs relating directly to the 10.5 update, I can understand how, if you hadn't played the game before, you might think that the arrow key issue was caused by 10.5. So it's fine I suppose

I don't know if this was already reported or it's a new thing but when i battled a trainer (that homeless dude under the Opal Bridge) his bidoof got the boost from Moody the moment it entered battle (and not at the end of the turn how it should be).

So, I used to run version 10 on this laptop, but when I tried to do a clean grab of 10.5 (Lost the flashdrive the other version was on 3:) it crashes right as I begin running the game. I'm not sure what's going on, and if it's my computer or not, but any help would be appreciated.

That's the thing, it just says "RGSS Player has stopped working." and then it closes. I open the debug, and I see "An unhandled exception occured in game.exe[3916]"

...Interesting, the RGSS error is usually based on computer, not game version. In the name of science, what happens if you try and run an old 10.1, does that still work?

Don't think that this has been brought up yet. A KO with Thunder Fang seems to prevent the opponent from giving you experience for that kill. Happened twice so far, once against Fern's Scyther and against Cain's Samurott.

Additionally, the new Pokemon that comes out after the KO immediately uses the move selected by the previous Pokemon (Serperior used Scyther's Double Team and Muk used Samurott's Night Slash).

having just an issue where i'm at the rhodochrine jungle ruins battling team meteor and the game freezes during that battle, and i've noticed that this occurs when lileep is on the battlefield... i'm running on a mac so i was hoping to get some assistance?

(there's also a couple of other things that i'd like to let you know about for the future updates for game improvements in terms of what i've played so far with some things that just need some tweaking/broken)
