plo 0
Hi, I've played and beat the game so far on my windows 7 operating system without any problems at all. My brother however just downloaded the game on his Surface pro 2 with a windows 8 operating system and I can't seem to figure out why the game isn't displaying anything. I can read the text and start a new game but none of the graphics are working any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Administrators Amethyst 2468 Posted January 3, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 3, 2014 Usually when graphic files don't load it's because they weren't extracted properly. Was the game fully extracted from the download zip?
Neo 45
Don't talk about Kuro and Lucia like that. :feelsgn:
Absol-lutelty awesome! 0
This has become such an issue. Ame this problem has arose multiple times, it is the faulty of windows 8 updates causing game incompatibility again
Administrators Amethyst 2468 Posted January 4, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 4, 2014 This is a different issue than the other Windows 8 topic. For the other one, the game doesn't start at all. This issue is seen on even non-windows 8 computers.
Absol-lutelty awesome! 0
Then this is getting to the boiling point, if it's not windows 8 messing with compatibility software than what could it be? Is your flash player up to date and is your media system up to date as well? Maybe the old software is glitching it
Administrators Amethyst 2468 Posted January 6, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 6, 2014 Flash and media systems shouldn't really affect the game. With all due respect, Absol, although I appreciate your trying to help, it may be better to refrain from posting if you're just taking shots in the dark.
plo 0
Ame was right it had to do with the files not being extraced/downloaded properly. Thank you :
Absol-lutelty awesome! 0
Wow wow wow... Hold up. If the game had functioned perfect before... Then how come it stopped working later with a file download issue?
plo 0
Previously I had had downloaded and played the game on my own computer. Then i turned my little brother onto the game( he's 10 and likes pokemon just like when i was a kid). So I downloaded it for him using the 2nd mirror link provided in the downloads, I just installed like anyone normally should. I as afraid his computer might of not been able to play it since it has an onboard graphics card(probably not up to par). the problem specifically were the sprites not loading properly, so all that was visable was the text. All I did was download the game again and apparently it extracted fine since it plays now.
Absol-lutelty awesome! 0
So it was simply the classical oops issue? Well Then we're cleared here.
