Lucario 0
I was wondering if anyone knew how I could transfer my save file from my old computer to my new computer. If anyone does it would greatly be appreciated.
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted December 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2013 http://www.pokemonreborn.com/game/save.html Find it this way and then just put it in /Users/YourUserName/Saved Games/Pokemon Reborn/Game.rxdata on the new computer
Lucario 0
Thank You. I found it on my windows computer, do you perhaps know where I can locate it on a Mac?
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted December 16, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 16, 2013 ...Oh. Mac. Uh. No, actually I don't. I know one other mac user was searching for his save and was unable to find it, but I have no clue if anyone else has had any luck (that was a very long time ago- like, Episode 1-2 era) My suggestion (assuming you're taking it from the windows to the mac?) would be to start a new game on the mac computer, save immediately, then search for the Game.rxdata file to overwrite it. If you're trying to find the file on a mac to move in the first place and searching doesn't find it... I dunno. Does wine use user folders or what?
Lucario 0
Yeah I tried searching for it all last night but I could not find the save file after saving it on my mac. Maybe I just put the save file into the folder of the game and maybe that will work. I'll try to look into it some more.

Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted December 17, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2013 For my information, where was it?
Lucario 0
1) I had to go to the Terminal and type in "defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES" no quotes. 2) I opened up a new save file and played through the introduction of the game 3) Saved the game after moving a few steps 4) Went into Finder and typed in "game.rxdata" and found the file 5) I opened the game.rxdata file and it looked something like this http://puu.sh/5P3CB 6) I opened my save file that i wanted to transfer and it looked like the puu.sh shown above 7) I copied the thing from o: all the way till it ended with box23 and pasted it into the original save file and there it is After that it appeared in the folder where the game is. http://puu.sh/5P4tl
Linux 1
Confirmed on Linux and Mac that it is in Root Game (not to be confused with user:root) direction which has been mentioned numerous times.
