Game Freeze at Azurine Island

Hi there! I just defeated Taka at Azurine Island and my game freezes just as I release Cain. The music continues to play, but all keyboard inputs stop working. I'm playing Episode 10 on Windows 7. I was hoping someone could help me out past this point.

So I got the save file and tested it and I was able to get past this scene just fine.

If worse comes to worst, I can just send the save file back to her with this point skipped, but I want to figure out why this is happening.

Question for other players: Has anyone successfully played past this point since Episode 10?

It works in my current copy but I haven't changed anything that should affect this. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean it for sure isn't glitched in the current download so I'd like to confirm

I've run into the same problem and I would like to know exactly all you did after just redownloading it because I've redownloaded the game and merged the files together twice and it still won't work.

So others are getting this in frequently... Could someone PM me their save file again? I'll take another look at it, maybe this time trying multiple times.

Okay, after playing with another save file for a while, I still can't replicate this issue. My new theory was that it was a positioning error, like a few other freezes have been (i.e if you enter the event from the left it works but the right freezes) however that doesn't seem to be the case. I can't get it to freeze at all.

Soooo, my new recommendation is not an ideal one but if redownloading doesn't work, then hang tight 'till the next release and see if that fixes it. If not, then we'll have to revisit it. I definitely hope to be done with 10.5 by the time winter break is over.

You won't have the EXP from the battle, but done. Head to Pyrous Mountain next

Thanks, it solved the problem! Though when Taka's Klefki used Foul Play on me the first time, the game got stuck when my HP was falling and kept going back and forth between 50 and 51 HP. But I restarted and it worked the second time and it did not freeze when I saved Cain.
