Angel of Death 0
Hi! This is my first time posting in the forums so sorry if I do something wrong >.< Anyway, I was in my PC box trying to move a Munna I had just caught to a different box. The game didn't respond, and then it said that the script was taking too long and that the game had to quit. However it said the game saved and that was a relief since I didn't want to have to back track. However when the game opened up again and I checked my PC box, the Munna I was moving was no where to be seen! It's not the end of the world since I wasn't planning on training it, but I did use more than one great ball in attempt to catch it and also it scares me for in the future that I will be moving a valued pokemon and it will be deleted. I don't know if there is anything I can do to fix it, I just was wondering if anybody else had experienced this problem. Goodbye little friend~
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted November 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 26, 2013 ...Ah. I know it's possible to delete pokemon accidentally if you cancel at the wrong time, and I have noted this in the readme, but... I didn't think it would happen from a hanging-crash, too. Very sorry. In order to prevent script hanging issues- try running fewer other programs parallel to Reborn. Or, if it only happens when you're using the box, one thing I've heard others do is limit themselves to putting only half the total limit of Pokemon in each box (having so many is what lags it but if they're in different boxes it wont) so that whereas each box normally holds 30, they don't go past 15 before moving to a new one. ..Maybe I should have an artificial limit scripted in...
