Need your help... Kingler or Omastar

So i have been searching for a Water-type Pokemon

i m thinking of either getting :

1) Kingler

breed it with X Scissors + Rockslide (or something similar)

2) Omastart

breed it with Icebeam

I am not sure because either one seems to have decent stats... What do you think ?

Look at the rest of your team. if you need another Physical Pokemon, go with Kingler. If you need a special one, then it's Omastar. The extra ground and fighting weakness might play a factor as well.

Use the Omastar, as you will probably need a counter for dragons.

Omastar is available!? I searched for fossils tirelessly!! So many resets!!

Seriously, I just gave up and I really do need more water pokemon for my teams. Of the 4 teams I have set up and trained, I only have Quagsire and Swampert.

the fossils are in mining rocks, the rocks are random so if you want them save before mining, and restart if you didn't get them,

I thought I said that's what I've been doing.

Point being, I've got pretty much all the fossils except for Kabuto, Omanyte and the two newest fossil pokemon.

if you have eevee i believe Vaporeon is a good water type pokeemon,

OMASTAR i guess since it's rarer? i love using rare pokemons,
