Game Crash

When exiting the Pokemon Center in the Opal Ward, the game crashed, saying the script took to long, or something. Now it won't load again at all, saying "The Map is Corrupt. The Game Cannot Continue." Is there any way to fix this problem without starting over?

I saw your post in the other topic too-

But the unfortunate truth is that when it gets to the 'corrupt data' point, there's nothing I can do. I would hope that you weren't too far in and I apologise.

The script hanging error is caused by your computer lacking the processing power to keep the game running. It can usually be prevented by having fewer other programs running simultaneously... I think the restructure with 9.5 might help dissuade it happening in that specific place, too.

Again, sorry, I know how frustrating it is to lose the data like this.

It's rather unfortunate, but this is far from the worst case of this happening. I find it frustrating, because I had almost 20 hours of gameplay, and I didn't make that much headway in the story. THe worst case of this happening is in the game Phantasy Star Online, when the data ended up being corrupted (over 800 gameplay hours).

I have a problem too. When I wanted to play the game today I found myself in the saved spot but I couldn't see anyone. I couldn't see the buildings or myself. I could still walk but everything was just a floortile. I think the game crashed or something and I don't want to keep playing if I can't see my character. It was okay yesterday I don't know what happened. Please help and I'm also new.

My suggestion for that would be to make sure that everything is properly downloaded and unzipped. Usually when graphics fail to load like that it's because they weren't extracted properly.
