Klink?

Johnny_Nevori

Question

I just finished the first gym and I went down to the Underground Railnet in Obsidia Ward to find Klink, but I've been looking for over 2 hours and still nothing. Am I in the wrong place or did something change in the newest update?

This is where I go is it the wrong spot?

Spoiler

I haven't explored/progressed the story yet, so please no spoilers if possible.

Thanks for any help/advice.

I dont think you are doing anything wrong as the Obsidia Ward Railnet entrance has klink as a 20% encounter rate

Maybe try restarting your game or something

Just make sure you are running into the wild pokemon and not the shadows that appear on the ground as those encounters are only Woobats

Yeah I've restarted twice and I known all too well about the Woo lol but all that keeps popping up is Noibat, that's it nothing else, I have tried switching my party around but still nothing.

Idk, maybe I'm just getting unlucky with the rolls of chance.

that's waaaay out lol I'm not dying to have one, I was just trying to get a steel type from this area before Gym 2 because I try to get each type I don't have before each Gym if available.

I'll try a little longer then i might give up and go for something else.

Wormadam is a better Steel type for early game in my opinion. You can catch Burmy if you Headbutt the trees in the little garden with Bug pokemon in Lower Peridot. Just make sure it's the correct form before evolving it, need to fight in the alleys or in Grand Hall to make it Steel type.

Yeah the only early headbutt user is Zigzagoon and I wasn't lucky enough to get it, plus Burmy is bug type and I already have 3 of them, I'm not trying to overload with 1 typing.

I was either gonna go for Klink or Bronzer but then I found out that Bronzor is egg only and only a 5% chance so I decided on Klink.

Thanks though.

I found Klink where it was supposed to be, it took forever to find.

I then tried to catch it and realized I have no Pokeballs. lol

So I went to go buy a few and start this terrible feat again when I realized I have no money. 🙄😞

🤣 Honestly I dont know. I has the screenshots to prove it though lol... it was not funny though 😞

as such I am a loser 🤷‍♂️

One way you could potentially get some more cash is to get yourself a meowth? I know it seems a little bleh, but it learns payday at level 12 plus can have Technician which can make it more usable.

good to note when I actually get some cash to get at least 1 pokeball. I was contemplating on restarting but it takes forever just to get where I am already and I'm not even that far in yet.

Well some advice when you go battle with some strong trainer or mon that you maybe need a few try to beat: you can just save before the fight and in battle when you thought that you might lose just press f12 this will soft reset the game and you can try again without losing money or happiness
