I only played the red and the gold version of the canon games - and that was like 10 years ago. Let me tell you, I am absolutely amazed by reborns difficulty. This game is just such a nice challenge with so many possible strategies. I absolutely love it. About me, I am from Germany and a student here. If you have questions just ask away!
