Help, weird delaying and fps drop!

Hello everyone, I've been having this odd issue with Reborn and even Rejuvenation where it takes a little longer to enter cells and about 6 seconds to start EVERY battle, where the FPS rate drops to 0-1. I have formatted my computer last night and this issue is still there (months ago it disappeared for a while, but then came back right after)

 

I'm not sure if anyone had that kind of problem before, I have always played Reborn without any problems.

I sometimes have it. Just kind of assumed it’s an RPGM thing. It happens more often if you play at the fast-forward speed (which I do).

Problem is that it doesn't go away anymore, happens all the time, with the fast-forward on or not. Makes an anxious person like me not able to play due to all the delaying, as it used to be quite smooth.

I tested another fangame at the same engine and oddly enough, it is just fine, unlike Reborn/Rejuv.

1. Try running the game in compatibility mode of an older version of windows.
2. Try disabling display scaling.
3. Try clearing some of your backups if your have a lot.
4. If your running mods know that it can cause some issues.
5. Also try turning off the battle animations.
6. Try limiting other app usage.
7. Try updating your graphics drivers.
8. Update Direct X.
9. Try disabling audio in the preferences.

Theses are just some things you can try, nothing is guaranteed, but some of theses have helped others including myself so they are worth a shot.

 

Also other games are different even Rejuvenation, I had no issues with Rejuvenation, downloaded and played, didn't have to run anything different or add anything but Reborn took quite a bit of workarounds to work for me and its still sluggish at times.
