This error pops up after the main menu

Right after pressing 'enter' in the main menu, this happens:

And pressing 'ok' or closing the window only makes the game window to close - thanks for the help in advance.

Do you have any special Charaters in your name or in the save path the rpg maker would use?

Not really, since I get this error right after pressing enter in the start menu.(as in I'm not even able to create a name or save,or even begin playing the game to begin with)

Rpg maker has problems creating save paths if the username has any specail character, so I was asking if your computer username has any special characters

That code line from what I understand has to do with saved game problems

@DaaXor If your computer username has any special symbols like the e in pokemon can you change your username and reset your computer?

Thanks, chief.Anyway, I haven't created my character, so I believe I don't have any special characters or anything. What may be important to cite is the fact that the directory you mentioned (C:\users\[your username here]\Saved Games) doesn't have the folder 'Pokemon Reborn' in it.

For now ignore the pokemon reborn part, your account you log into does it have any special characters.

Try downloading this older episode run it once if it works then try running the current episode

I downloaded an episode 16 file here:

And proceeded to do as you said, but got the same result - albeit a different error - from when I tried running the latest file.

But did it activly establish a save place from the older episode of reboorn?
If so can you try and play game or is it still crashing upon entry

 

@DaaXor can you post an image here or through Private Message with the path, the person who knows a bit more then what I do wants to see it
